Which New Civs should be in CIV V

Why not add something cool, like the civs from FFH2?

Because they don't exist. Civ is for real civilizations. Mods, sure, they have plenty of fantasy. But generally the full game is for real civilizations.

If we're lucky, we'll get a really cool fantasy mod with an expansion pack. If not, I'm sure somebody here will do something great. There's no need to incorporate that into the actual game.

eh, actually, I'm not sure about these four... including both Byzantium and Greece has always seemed a bit odd. If there is no Rome, a Byzantium or an Italy could potentially fill its place; if there is no Italy, Rome can take its place; if there is no Greece, then Byzantium could potentially take its place; and if there is no Byzantium, then Rome or Greece could take its place.

probably Korea

1. I don't know, I just prefer Thailand/Siam instead, I guess.

If I may, I suggest have the Pueblo rather than the Navajo. While the Navajo are interesting and numerous, they are recent newcomers to the Southwest (migrating at c. 1400 or 1500 AD). The Pueblo build a civilization, however, 1000 years before that.

And if you have Canada and Australia, why not Korea
3,000 years of history is hard to ignore.

Sort of, I don't think licenced fantasy civs(Star Trek,Lord of the Rings,Avatar,so on and so forth) should be added nor should completely made up civs like the ones from FFH. What could be acceptable would be generic fantasy civs(Vampires,Werewolves,Greys maybe Elves) also civs that have a bases in reality but aren't actually civs like Dogs, Dinosaurs, Antarctica. But even then it should be kept to a bare minimum.

If we have modern states instead civilizations witch is trend (America, Portugal, even England) maybe there should be Yugoslavia, Poland, Italy, South African Republic, Iran, Australia, Canada....

bohemia, maybe? they were taken over by the holy roman empire, but i think you can count bohemia as a decently powerful kingdom. probably not enough to be put into the game, but still.

Bohemia are completely unsuitable when you consider how Firaxis determine what counts as a Civilisation.

Personally I think Downloadable Content in the form of regional/historical civ packs (and scenarios, for that matter) would be a good way to go, provided they were either free or very cheap.

yeah, i wasn't suggesting that they be added. the guy basically said, "my country has never been powerful," so i named a historical nation that came from there and was at least slightly mediocre.

and i still think brazil should be put in the game.
