I entirely agree as long as "Turkey" means someplace in former Russian Central Asia or thereabouts, not Anatolia, Thrace, the Hatay, Armenia, Kurdistan, and the like.

Well its obvious I didn't mean Central Asia, they should be in Anatolia

I know you did, and I disagree with you, and that's that. I've had far too many flame wars and verbal arguments over the status of Turkey to have another with you, no matter how little the prospect appeals to me.

Okay, now I see what Symphony was complaining about a while back...

~Darkening~, please do read Symphony's original post more carefully.

I read quite well. My response was pointed a very specific comment Symph said. Anywho, to avoid the whole (unavoidable) ensuring flamefest, I'll pull that comment.

For any of you interested in the development of civilization at a macro level I recommend reading Nonzero by Richard Wright. It is very interesting.

I am hearby claiming that NukeNES has the most artistic lisince in the entire Fourm

Although the GBZ Nes, and CarNES could compete too

What specifically do you mean?

I meant that Symphony said that he does not have a problem with either NES, but merely dislikes ridicilous claims of them being somehow "realistic". Presumably he pointed that out with the specific purpose of avoiding that kind of arguments.

We really should revive the book thread.

@dark

Yes it does belong somewhere else, so here it is.

I don't like it at all, but it is true. Amsterdam it is legal, and so it is everywhere.

Here it is technically illegal, but is so widely used and so uninforced that we have a reputation as the leading marijuana users/capita in the developed world (excluding places where it is legal)

Its the 30 anniversary of the death of Marc Bolan (T Rex) the original glam rocker and I've been watching the utube videos of his performances. Great stuff. While I actually prefer his earlier (lates60s) rather than his 70s music, it is all good.

Bird, you are so incredibly old. How are you not dead?

According to some accounts he was around in 8th century AD Yaxchilan, so yes, I too am puzzled.

There's nothing mysterious at all about time travel. Though it begs the question as to why his updates weren't instant... perhaps the power requirements are too high for trivial uses. Yes, we're on to you, John Titor...

Been dead for years, but my wife won't toss me in the compost heap.

he still knows a few tricks, hows having a life back suiting you BJ?

I seem to have started a trend for dead "ubermods". ;)

I'm amazed that you don't have the frivolous impulse to change your profile and/or avvie. What was your avatar before you played the Soviet Canuckistanis?
