The only colors any of us need to learn to love are red, white, and blue.
That's right, all the colours of the Union Jack.

I'm striving to keep my english as british as I canEven though you are encouraging it by learning English and associating with us Americans?
Gah, I wont say anything to that, too tired for massive flamewar >.>You crazy foreigners need to stop fighting it. There's alot worse countries that could be slowly trying to take over the world.

Your call I suppose. I generally don't see what's horribly wrong with America, aside from whiney celebrities and occasional crazy leaders starting wars.
Aye, plus the general culture for striving excess wealth and using it in ridiculous purposes annoys me the most. (altho that might just be biased view of mine based on your pop-culture@JS- Many people don't like your right-wing economics.
Red White and Blue make up the colours for so many flags... USA, Iceland, Norway, Netherlands, France, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, and those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

I dont mind having wealth, but they way people use it. That thing is scaring me.It's somewhat true, as excess is definitely a problem here. But I would definitely say the stereotypes of all of us being crazy money-grubbers with no concern except getting rich is completely false.
You nailed it in the last sentenceBut with so much wealth readily and easily available, can you blame many of the masses for going too far with it? It's only human nature to constantly want more and abuse yourself (though we are definetely FAR too tolerant of it).
Big corporations = devil's incarnate on earth. Just reading the book "fastfood nation" justifies that opinion...And as for right wing economics, I can understand that. Some people just prefer to let the government make decisions for you, which lessens their competition (and competence) as a whole, so I'll stand for that (in fact, I encourage it). Just so long as you can justify your anti-American bias.
ACK! It was so obvious I neglected to mention them!I believe it's orange, not red, in their flag. And how could you forget the british flag?![]()
And British english just makes you sound pretentious.

Edit: damnit I shouldn't have started this... I need some sleep![]()
Thanks, I will! I think that quality of life is more important than ridiculously high-paying jobs for CEOs and high-level management. If you want to live in a world free of corporations where the government just artificially stunts growth and progress, you can be my guest.
