Some people are also somehow of the opinion that "cot" and "caught" are not phonetically equivilent, and that "caught" somehow sounds like "coat." Some people also think "vase" is said "vaz" (it's not, I go to a Military Base, not a Military Baz--it doesn't apply elsewhere, therefore it's bad), and that "gibs" is somehow said "jibs" (when it's very clearly "gibs" as in "gibson").
Just because they think it and say it doesn't make them any less silly or wrong.I blame that local vowel drift.

But there's a double u in pwned. It's just that "puuned" is not a good way of writing the pronunciation, so I use "pooned".
double u? what the hell you talking about? If saying pooned is somehow acceptable then pawned is also. neither O nor A are in pwned.
Anyway on the current topic Charles Li amuses me (whats with all these damn posts anyway), because he annoys others, but then again I used to think that other guy was alrite. What was he called again? he had like 3 names and one was specially for a goodbye message partially directed at me because he thought I was a bad person.

Of course, it is a double v, graphically, and most other languages call it a double v. But english calls it a double u, so what's so surprising?
