While We Wait: Part 6

Never bothered to change my avatar. Pure laziness, basically.

why bother to change it? my favourite anime and pic

Princess Mononoke rules

in other news, for you WoW haters.

Get to 80 and then talk about how bad it is. Until then you have only experienced 5% of the game.

How about just plain Warcraft? Anyone here ever play Warcraft 3, Reign of Chaos?

@Kentharu- I still associate you with the archer...

@sp1023- Frozen Throne more often, but yes, I play Warcraft III from time to time.

I still associate Kentharu with cookies, a pixelated avatar, and Ottoman epoch fail. :p (Ottoman fail comes up so frequently, though, that it's almost meaningless. They are like the dead horse of NESing, much like France is the automatic win country.) I also enjoy how my joke topic became kind of interesting.

SALADIN!! Though I have found avatars a lot more interesting, I can't resize them.

There is an Avatar Help Thread in the Computer Talk subforum where I got my avatar resized and rendered by extremely helpful people. Try it out.

I'm sure I've used some avatars for six months or more, although others only lasted a few days. Current avatar is in the minimalist style and also has great cultural significance due to being the Harkonen Devestator (nuclear) tank from the game Dune2.

The one in the truck? He is fine apparently, I didn't stick around to see if he was under the influence of anything, cause the police told us to go on home cause the power lines were close to the ground.

That sounded scary. I'm glad there were no deaths involved!

BTW, I managed to miss lord_joakim's Hero of Dawn thread, until a few minutes ago. I honestly didn't copy him when I put together my NEB game!

I point to it as evidence of growing psychic connection to events on the forum.

Also, tile-based battle games FTW!

How do you manage to find the time to update and keep track of 3 NESes?

Failure :) NESlife has slowed to a crawl. Although NEB1 only takes an hour or two to update (depends how much time I want to spend messing around with sprites). I've been working on the Alternate Timeline thing tonight.

It helps that they are all fairly laid-back things and not 'proper' NESes. NESlife is the only one with real stats.

I'm curious Daft, how would you see an expanded NEB2 working out? (Maybe after NEB1/Alternate Timeline Experiment ends.)

You could have a little grid-based "world map," with separate countries. A tech tree/research and development, different structures for income and etc, would all be kind of interesting.

A NEB taking place in the Alternate timeline world would be pretty cool.

I would like him to do something like that mixed with his simplistic WW2 NES he did a while back.

The order of godly things Daft does must be Alternate Timeline Experiment, DaftNES 2, other projects some 10-15 years later.

Supermath: did you guys have ancient history questions at your tournament? If so, it was superior than the one I attended.

Sure, why not?
I don't understand about what it has to do with me posting late.

Making money, buying stuff.
I guesss I should have asked you about evolution or engineering if I wanted more than 4 words. Care to elaborate a bit?
