Somewhat similar; when attempting to go to the last post in the 'Greatest US Presidents in the Last 100 Years' thread here, I am not taken to CIVPhilZilla's post but instead the top of the page...
...then it still shows up as an unread post on the subforum page.

Keep in mind that we have some very specialized threads that are for posting data/maps etc and not really for questions or discussion. I can clean those up if the thread content providers want. I'd rather not spend all my time deleting posts, but there are times when it would be appropriate. I'll make a "Mod to do " thread for such requests.

AFSNES I, ITNES I, NES2 III, and NES2 VI. Of those, AFSNES I was the most awesome.

Their awesomeness can be generally graphed on an ascending scale of awesome (y axis) vs. realism (x axis) m=1, with ITNES as a significant outlier.

I'd rather keep all links within there, as people might need to get access to the past Map and Alternate History threads quickly, as an example.
Besides, the very reason I reorganized the way the links are, is to make finding the correct link easier.
Along with that, your post didn't contain links to some of the latests threads, and had not been updated since 2007.

I think you are cluttering things up when you are adding links to threads that are as good as dead.
You do not need to log every thread that isn't a NES

I've been thinking (in incredible irony) of introducing the board game NES. Any support for that sort of thing out there?

Well two big thoughts out there for me:
1. Reviving Plexus' old Prohibition with a couple of little tweaks. Those were really fun ones.
2. World War Two/Settling Accounts era map and units. Starting either in war or soon before it.
