Note to self: pay more attention to player orders next time, so you don't have to rewrite the last half of a war because it made no sense.

Lol, alright. Then again, if Masada made me one, it would probably be a giant boot stepping on an innocent waffle.

I don't care to count the amount of blood and treasure you've wasted thus far on Belgium. Personally I think I've lost less than probably 10IC/EC that I've had to spend personally; the rest has been rebellion related freebies.

So.... more like a Hero of Haarlem, who puts his finger into the dyke to stop it bursting, only this time he falls asleep and the whole thing comes crashing down on him (repeatedly) :p

He is a superhero :p

He's a sidekick :p

Abaddon, your never going to get away from the Warhammer 40k rendition of you namesake

Evil, but amusingly ineffectual (A bit biased, being as I played Eldar :p), you on the other hand are MUCH more competant :D

Abaddon is the name of a demon, or the Devil himself, has also been identified as the angel of death and destruction, demon of the abyss, and chief of demons of the underworld hierarchy, where he is equated with Samael or Satan.

Wuhargh!

That may be the case for those afilitated with WH. Myself I first came across the name in this book by Julian May. Fantastic Sci-fic, have read countless times (and its a long series!)

why is everybody giving up titles so easily? It's kinda disturbing...

Contrary to what I said in the other thread, that is mostly because they are wusses and don't want to set Europe aflame with dynastic and territorial wars that I could watch from way over there.

See Bolded, plus parenthesis... They had good tactics, but was later proved to be wrong for that battle.

I think NK was talking about the specific battle plan, not their general tactics which had their ups and downs. That very specific battle plan had to be scraped due to not enough maneuvering space. Basically, they were let down by poor reconnaissance/cartography, and I suppose the basic flaws in leadership and military organisation of late feudal armies.

Nazi propaganda?

flyingchicken is an Asian racial supremacist who thinks that Nordic-looking people are only good for Nazi propaganda! :p

is it perhaps THE war because most of the wars from the centre westward are the same war?

:p

Well, strictly speaking this is not true. Most of the lands north of Acca or so are completely uninvolved in THE war, THE war bears that distinction because it involves around a third of the players (and wow, I did not realize that I only have about twenty players. Kind of worrying when I think about how much bigger the world's going to become...).

And here we go with yet another revision. Potential Mods, remember to READ THE PLAYERS' ORDERS carefully.

Oh man. THAT war. I can't wait to see the outcome. The situation I have put myself in is rather interesting.... assuming I'm still in existance. :p

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure I will have to bear the brunt of it anyway this turn.

A general note to all NESers; personal issues in my life have returned, and currently I'm not in the mood in doing anything in regards of work. So, I'll keep on lurking, and would rather appreciate being NPC'ed than kicked from NESes, but it's up to the mods.

Oh, and Birdjaguar, just release Sweden from Denmark. You can let Kalmar attemp to keep it or not, your choice. I'll send any diplomacy pms i recieved regarding your NES to you.

Ok, so... My global teacher has given me permission to change my topic if I wish to. Should I keep it as the Battle of Agincourt, or change it to the battle of Poitiers?

Which battle of Poitiers?
