On that note, anyone possibly interested in skype/podcast/essay/freeform chat sessions about Moderating theory?

And IOTing! ;)

Just a quick bump to say that I finished calculating XP for the last #nesdnd session (number 4) and am currently writing the summary. Those interested, please pop up and give a look.

Also, if anyone has a copy of the log for sessions 3 and 4 please add it! I've enabled those pages for editing.

If anyone ever does a Star Trek NES, I hereby put a permanent reservation on the Romulan Star Empire. Just putting that out there so it's on the record.

Terrance888, when do you gain levels in #nesdnd? I passed 1000 XP last update so I think I've gained my first level ever.

We got some interest for a game tonight, especially with Luckymoose reschedueling his game. I got 3 interested broskies. If you want to play #nesdnd tonight, hop on #nes and tell me!

We'll be finishing the Pinoso Keep quest tonight, most likely.

I am still interested but it's getting really late without you telling me if it's on or not. It's midnight now. :)

I sometimes wonder if it might be better to adopt a more "episodic" format? For example, you could have a heroes guild (with say 10 players) working on liberating a Dwarven hold. On each designated dnd night, you could just roll with whoever turned up. The players who couldn't show might be just be resting up for the next big push or whatever. You'd design the missions so they were scalable too. 2-3 players might see you clear an apartment block, while 5-6 might see you clear an important cross-roads. Player interactions under this model might be a little confused. But I suppose you could run a thread on nes to allow people to "chat" between missions. Shame I don't know the first thing about dnd, because I'd be up for running some urban hero vs. goblin action.

Technically, I'm always jive whenever we got 3 people on #nes at the same time open for a night.

Also, hilariously, you managed to guess the jist of the current "arc". The party is clearing out various Ruins, killing Monsters, and taking their stuff... IN THE NAME OF THE KING.

Is it too party-disruptive to cast Unnatural Lust on Marren Trent to have her smother Vira with kisses?

I think I'm slowly morphing into becoming that kind of player.

Bwahahahahaha

As long as you're cool with further attempts at your life.

Also, Marren Trent is a level 2 rogue NPC. Anyone interested please contact me.

I would totally listen/read and comment.

Honestly, when considering it, I don't think it's properly "in character" to do that. Sasamuel is an annoying idiot, but he's pretty pragmatic about his spell use. :)

Sorry about not being around yesterday for a session, I'm at my parents at the moment without my computer so getting on is slightly difficult.
