I hate that c*** Bismarack. That guy is such an annoying bstd nowadays I just take him out first before even waiting around for him to get annoyed. Has anyone ever been friendly till the end with him?!!

Tukogawa does it for me. He is too arrogant.

But, several leaders have the anoying habit of showing on the screen to demand things where they are far behind on the score. When they do that I usualy demand all their gold just for the anoyance, and if they deny, I crush them.

well, if there's a pattern then we could use that to know whom to trust and whom to shoot in the back at first chance

Alexander, becuase AI sucks ass with him. Whenever I play and there is Greece, he gets wiped or get pathatically weak(1 or 2 cities left on huge world setting...) before going into industrial age all the time.

Izzy is such a little whiner.

"Convert, you heathen!"
No, thanks, I like my state religion just fine.
"I said convert!"
No, really, if it's all the same with you. I've got a good thing going, and I don't want to mess with it.
"Convert or die!"
Well, if that's the way you want to be.... :hammer:

I really hate that *^&(*%^$%*^^)&^%$@#!!! Montezuma, he ALWAYS ruins my best laid plans.

I hate Saladin the most, for some reason he just can't help but attack me, in every single game he is in.
And for some reason, he is in most of my games, and does very well as well! (atleast, score-wise)

I don't hate anyone in the game, especially when they are doing exactly what they have been programmed. Sure, some of them often behave irrational and may even be so evil for no reason, but that's all within their programs. For me, defeating the AI seems like a hollow victory, but defeating its designers isn't.

Montezuma is insane. He will literally zerg you from a tiny shared border like a madman. He has no chance of winning, but sacrifices himself to force you to stop him...And you can't capture his cities, since they are on the otherside of the world and would bankrupt you to capture. He drives me crazy.

I've had problems with him, too. If you have a tech lead on him, though, send in a couple of fast units (knights, cavalry, etc) to pillage ruthlessly while he's throwing units up against your superior defending army. I did this last night (on noble) and after 3 or 4 turns, when he was finally speaking to me again, he immediately gave in to my demand for a peace treaty and 290 gold. It usually takes like 10 turns to get him to even speak to me, and when he does he wants a city of mine in exchange for peace. No more, Monty, no more ;)

everytime monty pops up on first contact i feel the urge to put his head on a stick and wipe his entire civilization off MY planet.

Yeah, I just seem to meet everyone all at once, and typically before I'm prepared for any kind of serious war. Lately, though, I typically declare war and eliminate someone fairly early on. I probably need to get away from continents as everyone starts near one another, but it's been great for learning how to handle different terrains.

Ill do it to tokugawa just cuz I hate that bastard so much--nothing like "Hi nice to meet you I'm tokugawa." followed by "I'm so and so and...say...they were right...your head would look good on a pole...."

I have, especially if I start out on a fairly small island with another civ close by. Early in one game, I was playing Japan and came across the Mongols on the other end of my island. About ten turns later...no more Mongols!! :ar15:

:king:

Montazuma is the worst. It seems like I always get a border with him (probably because I play American), and he's always attacking me at some point. One game he was on another island, with a civilization between us, and he decided to start attacking me for no apparent reason (other than I had a big tech lead maybe).

If I play the Earth18Civs Scenerio, I beeline it to archery, create 4 warriors and 2 archers (it takes that much to kill his two warrior guards) and take him out before he can even get going. Sure, it puts me back a little bit from the Worker/Setter rush strat, but I get a decent city, and most importantly, don't have to deal with Monty down the road.
