Been 30 odd years but newspaper. It's god awful but rub it to soften it up.
That's a good idea.
I wonder how bad the ink staining is.

Down to 10 rolls.
Starting to sweat.
Even the dollar store useless toilet paper is gone.
The rumor is truckers are federally allowed unlimited driving now and are swarming the Charmin Factory.
Backup plan is paper towels + ziplock bags.
Final backup plan is kitty litter + shower, but it shouldn't ever come to that.
It won't cure it, but it should work beautifully for social distancing (as long as you avoid mouthwash or breath mints)...Just been told onions and garlic is Chinese medicine to cure the coronavirus...thought this was a clever trick to get the younger kids to eat it. but she's serious about this, though me and the teenager weren't fooled, didn't want a full blown argument breaking out at dinner...
So my friend that works at a grocery store tells me that people are coming in trying to return toilet paper they bought and the store had to post a no returns policy because they feel the need to sanitize the packaging if they take it back. Now that people are recognizing the consequences of the shutdown of their jobs they are a lot less concerned about having a three year supply laid in for their post apocalyptic pooping needs.
I don't understand. It's not like the toilet paper is going to go bad (I guess unless you store it improperly and it gets soggy). Just use it up.
Oh. That makes more sense.
You can flush them, but depending on the exact structure, they will not necessarily disintegrate in water and might clog the toilets.
What about the 2nd wave of Covid-19? do you guys think there will be shortage of toilet paper again?
