Moderator Action: Let me add another dimension to this particular discussion. It is all about how firaxis and 2k and everyone else involved in it has failed to produce a game you like. Civ is a very complex game with lots of nuanced game play and complicated interplay between different elements. Over time strategy games have gotten even more complicated than in the past. So you take fixaxis to task for that failure.
And yet so many of you completely fail at something much simpler and easier: to discuss the topic in a civil manner. I find it a bit odd that you are so unforgiving with Fixaxis and their game and you all fail yourselves to manage a simple conversation in a friendly manner. Your vindictive hateful posts do yourselves a great disservice. Not liking things is just fine, but you guys have gone far beyond that.
