Why do you hate Pokémon?

As far as I know, even Half-Life, God of War, Grand Theft Auto, and Splinter Cell have that kind of milking.

You've never played or seen any of them.

I don't know about the others, but the Half-Life series hasn't suffered, while the gameplay hasn't changed much since HL2, the story is still good and it's no getting worse.

Okay, I wasn't sure about Splinter Cell, Grand Theft Auto, and Half-Life, but I know for sure that God of War is milked like that.

But those games all look kinda identical to games in their series.

It doesn't mean they're milked. The Final Fantasy series is milked. Half-Life is very different from Half-Life 2 and the episodes continue the story line.

I'm curious as to how you know for sure the God of War series is milked.

Swein: You're confusing 'milking' with 'bringing out more than one game'. If that's your definition, then of course all game franchises get milked, because you can't really call your game a franchise if you only bring out one game.

The Sims, for example, has been 'milked' (I still play it, though :p) whereas you couldn't really say the same for Splinter Cell (not that I've ever played that). Pokémon started to be properly 'milked' after G/S/C, in my opinion, as they weren't really improving it after that.

Pokemon in general, except for G/S/C, blows. Exclamation point.

Still, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald is better. Period.

They aren't sequels, they are spin offs. G/S/C are the best sequels because they actually follow the events of R/B/Y.

Red-Crystal. If you ever tell someone to play pokemon, only give them those. Preferably Red/Blue first then Gold/Silver. Then let them play Yellow and Crystal.

As far as I'm concerned, the world ends at Celebi.

Same with me, except I count in Gardevoir. >_>

I've simply just grown out of Pokemon and it seems like (in my opinion) it's way too different from what it was originally. I mean, there's 400ish Pokemon now (everything excluding Gardevoir after Celebi I hate), and a whole bunch of new features I don't get.

I'm happy with my Red and Crystal.

Side note: It's hilarious if you turned your Missingno into a Kangaskhan and make him fly in Pokemon Stadium 2.
