1. My proper title of Czar Scipian (equivalent to the commoner "Mr")) has 11 letters.

2. My birth date is 12/19/90. I'm 16 years old. 12+19+90+16=137. 1+3+7=11

3. My first and last name together have 11 letters.

4. I'm in my eleventh year of school.

5. I've been a baptized Christian (my own choice) for 11 years.

And lots more but I've just been told to go do my homework.

And i realize in retrospect that this would be a great place for a stalker pr predator. :)

Claim: Quranic verse 9:11 speaks of the "wrath of the Eagle cleansing the lands of Allah."

Status: False.

Origins: The chapter and verse citation reproduced in the example block above isn't a legitimate quotation from the Quran (or Koran), the sacred text of Islam — no such passage appears in that book, at Chapter 9, Verse 11 or anywhere else.

I always liked the piece done by Dave Pawson which is linked from there.

Sounds like someone spent their entire day going through a list of terrorists and adding and subracting letters and numbers trying to find a pattern

my full name is 17 letters long, however I am bad at writting and my 7's are often mistaken for 1's.....

GASP!

Type the following into MS Word:

"9/11 conspiracy theories are like blackhole arseholes. They all suck and all stink."

No need to convert to wingdings.

That's a metaphor I need to find a way of dropping into everyday conversation.

Another good example of why we shouldn't trust prime numbers.

I once read about some German monk in the 16th century, who tried to prove that Pope Leo X is devil. He transformed the number X to "DECIMVS", and summed up every letter of the name, which is also a Roman number: L+D+C+I+M+V=50+500+100+1+1000+5=1656. Then he noticed that he had forgotten the X from Leo X, added it and got 1666. Noe theres 1000 too much, but it can be substracted because M stands for "mysterium". So he proved the pope to be devil. If I remember correctly he was almost murdered by the catholics, took refuge in some protestant monastery, and started to examine the Bible. He found out that the dooms day is very near, and got meny convinced. After nothing happened in that predicted day, the protestants tried to kill him. Again he flew, and never after got involved with numerology.

It's intresting by the way, that some people find concpiracies every where else, but there where really is something wierd going on. Like they are ready to be ruled becuase they speak the same language with the ruler &c, and there's nothing to suspect about. Tell them that there's 11 letters in the name of George W Bush or George Washington's name starts with the 23:th letter and they're sure that's concpiracy (with no idea what the conspiracy is about though).

Glad you liked it! Made it up on the fly, though I'm sure with 6.5 billion of us on this little rock that someone, somewhere has also thought of it. Therefore, I won't try to copyright it. :)

There is a French TV show called Des chiffres et des lettres

Read "Le compte est bon" in the article. Basically, a number between 101 and 999 is selected at "random" (let's call it x), as well as 6 other integers. The aim is to produce x using +, -, x, / and the 6 integers. The fact that it can be done consistently on a TV show tells us all we need to know about numerology.

But you already knew that.

Sounds like Countdown.

EDIT: Countdown adapted their idea it seems...

OFF-TOPIC:

Did you know that Patti LaBelle cancelled a vacation where she would arrive on September 11 at an airport? She was going to be on one of the flights that hit the World Trade Center.

The same also happened with Seth McFarlane, but he was misinformed by his travel agent that Flight 11 was taking off an hour and a half after it really was.
