And thus in the first hour of the war Korea lost scores of units. Unfortunately, Hyangsan already had shelters and extra nukes were wasted to annahilate the army there. Nonetheless, Seoul and two or three other Korean cities were devastated.
Mao (who was vassalized by Wang), Cathy and Sala DoWed me as all good vassals should. Cathy even sent a token force of mech infs to invade me (the girl is advanced!). Wang managed to send substantial number of units to the front, but they were killed one way or another, while a second round of nukewhipping took care of his remaining cities.
A few turns later Cathy renounced the vassalage, but was so pissed with me I was forced to bribe Genghis to attack her (now Genghis is friendly). Apparently, we have to cripple her before she completes the spaceship.
Advance in Korean territory is slow, the nuclear fallout limits most of my units to single moves. On the contrary, the railroads were not damaged by the nukes, and now "it's raining artillery" in Korea. In spite of the constant barrage, two Korean cities have already been razed and more are to come.
No enemy nukes have hit my territory as of yet. Besides, shelters offer OK defense and my workers have Ecology. The largest damage so far in the war was a massive Korean naval incursion which destroyed one of my-not-so-important cities. The war has lasted only five turns so far, but the damage done is incredible:
Will I win? It's too early to say...
