My windows 7x64 computer is having trouble displaying my school's website (online school). Lessons don't always appear and I have other related problems as well. When I move to a 32bit OS (vista/XP), the problems disappear. I know that windows 7 is generally pretty good about backwards compatability but this school already has a few idiosyncrasies. I was wondering if there are any safe, LEGAL, and cheap/free methods of making my 64 bit OS act like it was 32 bit. I have windows 7x64 home premium. Any suggestions on either a way to make my computer impersonate a 32 bit or suggestions in general? I've tried explorer, Firefox, and chrome, I've tried clearing the cache of explorer, etc. I don't have a virus and my drivers are up to date.
PS: the school's name is WAVA, WAshington Virtual Academy in case anyone's ever heard of it.
PS: I need to be able to use my 7x64 laptop. The vista laptop has a virus and the fans don't work right so it overheats and the XP is both a dinosaur and a desktop (I had surgery and can't sit up for very long)

Explorer was preinstalled on my computer, is there a 64 bit version and if so, would the 64 bit version have likely been installed?

IE (32-bit), Chrome, Firefox, etc. are all 32-bit programs with 32-bit plugins (java, flash, etc.), so they really should behave identically in Windows 7 64-bit or Windows XP.

Correct, tough there is one notable change between IE on Windows XP and on Windows 7 - the later will use IPv6 when both ends of a connection support it. If it's available but misconfigured on some router or on the servers, strange things can happen.

But most home connections should not yet have IPv6 available, so that's probably not the problem here.
