WNES 3: Back to Basics
Rules:
This is more of a storytelling NES. That means you will give a story
and then orders. Although it is not required it would be greatly
appriciated if you wrote a story. You will have to join as a
pre-made nation during this NES. And only if all NPCs are taken
are you allowed to start a rebellion. Every turn will be 6 months
going from Early YEAR to Late YEAR. Also
PS: Dont worry if this seems long. Its basicly normal story rules
except I like to write, so I wrote, a lot
Updates: Ill try to update once every day or two. Before I update I do need 5 orders. So if your wondering why Im not updateing it
may be because theres not enough orders. Hopefully that wont be a problem.
MILITARY:
There are 4 area of military power: Land, Sea, Air and Space. Each
have their own units and needs. They will all interact though. Air
wont just fight Air, they will try and fight ground and sea. ONLY
SPACE CAN FIGHT SAPCE. But space CAN effect battles on
earth.
There is also 7 military sizes
None
Tiny
Small
Medium
Large
Huge
Gigantic
You can also create Guards(National, Coast, Air, Space) they may
only be half the size of your normal military. During war they can
be integrated into normal military, this will avoid draft rules. They
will also help halt invasions, covert ops, rebellions, etc.
there is 5 training levels too.

You cant increase the size and training in the same area in 1 turn.
Also during war if you try and increase your militarys size it will
lose a training level(aka Draft Rule)
ECONOMY:
The economy is very importent. It is determained by 3 things.
Trade, internal development, and any projects. Your economy is
very importent to your peoples happiness, education, culture,
world ranking, living conditions and military. There are 8 economic
sizes. Areas=a military area(land, sea, air, space and training),
education, culture or living condition. A special area is your
economy itself. You may only increase your Economy and nothing
else in one turn. Recession takes two turns, depression- 3 turns and collapsed 4 turns. (So to get from collapsed to stable will take 9 turns-4 1/2 years!
) But you can recieve outside help there.
Econnomic sizes-
collapsed-No economy(decrease 1 area size per turn)
depression-(Decrease one area per 2 turns)
recession(increase one area per 2 turns)
Stable(Increase 1 area per turn)
Prosperous(Increase 2 areas per turn)
Very Prosperous(Increase 3 areas per turn)
Booming(Increase 4 areas per turn)
EDUCATION-
Education is a key section of your stats. It will show how well
taught and smart your population is. It is a componet of your world ranking and happiness.
There are 5 levels of Education
None
Dumb
Average
Smart
Genius
Education will also effect scientific findings and the ablility to learn
new technologies.
SCIENCE:
Science and technology is a major player in this game. Your
Scientific Level(aka age) will determain your power and
technological achievement. Technologies can also be made up and
can help your peace or war needs. There are 12 levels of Scientific
Achievement-
Modern
Near Future
Close Future
UWF
Expected UWF
Long-range UWF
Far Future
Beyond Future

Your culture is as important as anyother area. This is determained
by projects, and other works. It will effect your peoples mood and
living conditions. It will also effect NPCs reactions to you. It will
also help determine happiness. There are 4 levels
Low
Medium

Extrodinary
LIVING CONDITIONS:
The living conditions of your people. This will be the major area
that determains the peoples happiness. Bad living conditions will
cause great anger from people if there are many countries who have better conditions. There are 6 levels of living conditions-
Like Animals
Horrible
Bad
Tolerable
Good
Excellant
HAPPINESS:
The last of the areas. It is very importent. Angry people can become mobs, mobs can become protesters, protesters become rioters and rioters become full-blown rebels. It is very importent you keep them happy. To keep them happy you must have as good or better living conditions as others, as good or better culture then others, and as good or better education then others. Another thing that can effect happiness is war. War Warriness can hit you hard. Drafts, losing, deaths can cause people to become unhappy.
There are 7 happiness levels-
Rebel
Protest
Angry
Upset
Content
Happy
Extremly Happy
