WNES 3: Back to Basics

Rules:
This is more of a storytelling NES. That means you will give a story
and then orders. Although it is not required it would be greatly
appriciated if you wrote a story. You will have to join as a
pre-made nation during this NES. And only if all NPCs are taken
are you allowed to start a rebellion. Every turn will be 6 months
going from Early YEAR to Late YEAR. Also

PS: Don’t worry if this seems long. It’s basicly normal story rules
except I like to write, so I wrote, a lot :D

Updates: I’ll try to update once every day or two. Before I update I do need 5 orders. So if your wondering why I’m not updateing it
may be because theres not enough orders. Hopefully that won’t be a problem.

MILITARY:

There are 4 area of military power: Land, Sea, Air and Space. Each
have their own units and needs. They will all interact though. Air
won’t just fight Air, they will try and fight ground and sea. ONLY
SPACE CAN FIGHT SAPCE. But space CAN effect battles on
earth.

There is also 7 military sizes
None
Tiny
Small
Medium
Large
Huge
Gigantic

You can also create Guards(National, Coast, Air, Space) they may
only be half the size of your normal military. During war they can
be integrated into normal military, this will avoid draft rules. They
will also help halt invasions, covert ops, rebellions, etc.

there is 5 training levels too.

You can’t increase the size and training in the same area in 1 turn.
Also during war if you try and increase your military’s size it will
lose a training level(aka Draft Rule)

ECONOMY:

The economy is very importent. It is determained by 3 things.
Trade, internal development, and any projects. Your economy is
very importent to your people’s happiness, education, culture,
world ranking, living conditions and military. There are 8 economic
sizes. Areas=a military area(land, sea, air, space and training),
education, culture or living condition. A special area is your
economy itself. You may only increase your Economy and nothing
else in one turn. Recession takes two turns, depression- 3 turns and collapsed 4 turns. (So to get from collapsed to stable will take 9 turns-4 1/2 years! :eek: ) But you can recieve outside help there.

Econnomic sizes-
collapsed-No economy(decrease 1 area size per turn)
depression-(Decrease one area per 2 turns)
recession(increase one area per 2 turns)
Stable(Increase 1 area per turn)
Prosperous(Increase 2 areas per turn)
Very Prosperous(Increase 3 areas per turn)
Booming(Increase 4 areas per turn)

EDUCATION-

Education is a key section of your stats. It will show how well
taught and smart your population is. It is a componet of your world ranking and happiness.

There are 5 levels of Education

Smart
Genius

Education will also effect scientific findings and the ablility to learn
new technologies.

SCIENCE:

Science and technology is a major player in this game. Your
Scientific Level(aka age) will determain your power and
technological achievement. Technologies can also be made up and
can help your peace or war needs. There are 12 levels of Scientific
Achievement-

CULTURE

Your culture is as important as anyother area. This is determained
by projects, and other works. It will effect your peoples mood and
living conditions. It will also effect NPC’s reactions to you. It will
also help determine happiness. There are 4 levels

LIVING CONDITIONS:

The living conditions of your people. This will be the major area
that determains the people’s happiness. Bad living conditions will
cause great anger from people if there are many countries who have better conditions. There are 6 levels of living conditions-

Like Animals
Horrible
Bad
Tolerable
Good
Excellant

HAPPINESS:
The last of the areas. It is very importent. Angry people can become mobs, mobs can become protesters, protesters become rioters and rioters become full-blown rebels. It is very importent you keep them happy. To keep them happy you must have as good or better living conditions as others, as good or better culture then others, and as good or better education then others. Another thing that can effect happiness is war. War Warriness can hit you hard. Drafts, losing, deaths can cause people to become unhappy.

It will be up to you to decide what the great projects will be. It may range from a large space station to increase science to a national Defense system. Just be creative. You must give the name, maybe a definition of what it will do, then I will decide how long it will take.

Japan starts rebellion
2026- Japanease rebellion fails. World Government bombed
January 2027- UWF Collapses after communication sattalites fall
out of the sky. Start of AC(After Collapse)

0AC- New Earth Federation formed in Germany. African nation
formed from rebelling African nations. City-states form all over the
world. UK falls into a depression. Africa falls into depression.

1AC: Several city states rise above others in all continents(India,
China, Rome, Russia, Japan, Brazil, San Fransisco, Kansas City,
Washington DC)

2AC: San Fransisco turns into the Pacific States of America,
Kansas city into Central States of America, Washington into
Eastern States of America. Tasmania, Perth, Sydney Empire,
Darwin, Central American Empire(Mexico), South East Empire and
the Federation of City States on the Purpose of Security(United
Arab Federation) was created.

3AC: UK and Africa recover from depression. Ethiopia and
Western Africa founded. Rome expands into Libya, Tunisia and
Algeria. NEF expands into France. All nations continue to expand.

4AC: Japan expands into Asia. First Roman-NEF war- ends in
stalemate. UAF begins trade with Rome and NEF. First Japo-Sino
war- Japan keeps Korea. Melbourne war- ends in stalemate.

5AC- First Anglo-NEF war- Britain keeps Low Countries and
Northern France. Canadian Empire formed, Siberian empire
formed. Arms race between American countries. Brazil becomes
dominante South American country.

6AC: ESA conqures carribian and all American nations expand into
Canada. All African nations have borders with eachother. NEF
conqures northern Moracco. Arab Federation controls 20% of
world’s oil(Middle East). Second Roman-NEF war-Rome pushes
north. NEF conqures Polish empire and meets Russia. Great
Australian War- all Australian nations participate, Sydney Empire
becomes dominate country even though no land was gained on any side.

7AC: Great American War starts as CSA invades ESA. PSA
invades Mexico. Russian-NEF war-Russia gains lands in Poland.
Tibetan war- India conqures Tibet from China. SEE conquers
Darwin.

8AC: CSA invades PSA for Mexican lands. 2nd Japo-Sino War-
China keeps Manchuria. “Frointer War” Russia and Rome vs NEF-
NEF holds it’s Black sea ports.

9AC: Great American War ends- CSA gains PSA, ESA and
Mexican lands and becomes dominante power in America. Loire
War- UK vs NEF- Stalemate, most fighting along the Loire river.

10AC: CSA begins it’s conquest of the Canadian Empire. UK
expands into Iceland and Greenland.

11AC: Canadian Empire conqured. UK takes Baffin Island. PSA
conquers Alaska. A few nations construct satallites in space
re-opening global communications and military applications.

I'll be west Africa (why are there only 2 nations in the third age?)
 
They have only recently come upon it and those two are the most technologicly advanced.
 
A meteor falled just near the Capital!!!
A young person that was the only survivor in the city have took full control on all West Africa! (ooc- he came out of the meteor in reality and I am now a despotism)

It's all in the the rules my boy.

1) It's determained by your economy level. See answer to # 2

2) I explained in the rules an area is your Army, Navy, Air or space and it can be your Living Conditions, culture, education.

So for ex you have a stable economy(1 area per turn) you can only upgrade 1 area per turn like education or your army.
