[GS] Wondrous Wonders (Updated for Gathering Storm) 3.1.0

Sadly, I'm afraid I appear to have found a problem - perhaps due to the recent R&F patch?

When enabled - this mod seems to break access to the Great Works screen. Game doesn't crash or anything - the Great Works screen simply won't open. I don't think it's conflicting with any other mods - I'm not using CQUI or any components. I do have other added wonder mods (Temple of Heaven, Himeji Castle, etc) - but after testing various combinations and playing through till I get a relic - it appears that this one is the culprit.

It's a great mod - and wonder whores like myself thank you for the work... but hope this is a relatively simple fix :-)

I have had no problem whatsoever opening the great works screen. It must be a different mod, or a mod conflict.
 
Thanks for this mod - I've been using it for quite a while and love most of the changes. I've tinkered with it a bit to make Petra and Chichen Itza apply their bonuses to all of the player's cities, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to make the Mahabodhi Temple faith from woods bonus apply empire-wide. Could anyone point me in the right direction, please?
 
I'm sure you have your own plans on how to update this mod for GS, but I had a thought. One of the leading criticisms of the expansion is that Diplo Victory takes too long and feels too passive. Perhaps adding additional diplo victory points to select wonders, such as all the wonders that give an additional policy slot? Two points each might be too much, but the idea of even pursuing a diplo victory as the game stands at the moment is off-putting.
 
The Steam version of this mod has been updated--I'll post a new version here soon too. It's just a compatibility update for now, I'll be playing some games first to get a feel for new wonders and such.

It's possible I'll add more to diplomatic victory via wonders (certainly it's a game system I'd like to interact with more), but I don't know if wonders are the primary place where I'd like to try and address issues with it. I wouldn't want to turn diplomatic victory into "wonders victory" or something. Ideally it'd be something you work out using the diplomatic game systems. Still, there are thing I could do there, and I'll keep it in mind. Just adding a bunch of diplo victory points to select wonders though may not be it.

The user has your mod (he posts a screenshot of the statue of liberty and it has the WW mod effect description but it might be causing full loyalty).

I'm going to test that right now, but it may be that the user was using a version that was out of date. I was doing a few rapid-fire updates there for a while, and it's possible they got stuck with a version that still had it messed up if the user started a game at the wrong time. I'm pretty positive I got that right this time, but there was a version or two where the Statue of Liberty had problems (due to the modifiers changing between RnF/GS).

Edit: My testing suggests that this is probably what happened, the current version works but it's always possible to get stuck with an out of date version due to the rapid updates I was doing.

Thanks for updating, I find this mod to be a must have for QOL and just because it is better and how the game should have been made. Silly Ed Beach! :D
 
I just got a weird occasion where me being in ancient era, got a notification that some unmet player has completed a middle ages (!!!) wonder the great bath. In fact, this happens early every time I play.
Clearly, something's wrong with the wonders and I think your mod is the first to ask - if you have any idea how this is possible?

This mod is awesome, but now with the invention of strategic resources Terracotta army is not balanced! I can have 2 units for the strategic resources price of 1. Combine that with Magnus governor with Black marketeer trait and you can have 2 units for the strategic resources price of 10% of what they would cost normally and 50% of production. This is beginning to be game-breaking and needs some balance!
