Chieftain
This is a mod I am working on that is striving for realisam, and more units. Please, give your reviews on this one. I just started this mod, but I hope that it will some day be a great mod that everyone wants to play. Please play and review, and give your suggestions! Here is the current readme file:

- The Great Wall no long gives walls to every city on the map, only ones on its contenient
- Catapult bombardment strength changed to 4, cannon changed bombardment strength to 8 and rate of fire to 2, artillary bombardment strength changed to 14 and rate of fire changed to 3, radar artillary bombardment strength changed to 18 and rate of fire changed to 4.
- Cruise missle bombadrment strength changed to 24, rate of fire changed to 4
- Carrier can now not bombard (Don't know why I changed it to this)
- Submarine now upgrades to Nuclear Submarine
- Submarine defensive increased to 6
- Destroyer bombard strength changed to 14, and range changed to 2

- Ironclad bombard strength changed to 8
- The Leader, Scout, Spy, and Explorer can now airlift
- Ironclad is now built after you research Industrialzation
- You can now airlift the Catapult, Cannon, Artillary, and Radar Artillary
- Frigate bombard strength changed to 4
- Aircraft Carrier attack changed to 6
- Privateer attack strength changed to 2
- The AI will now bombard with fighters
- Cruise Missle bombard range set to 4
- Man-O-War defense changed to 3, bombard strength changed to 8
- Musketman attack changed to 3
- Rifleman attack changed to 5
- Musketeer attack changed to 4
- Infantry attack changed to 8
- Paratrooper attack changed to 8, and defense changed to 12
- Marine attack changed to 12, and defense changed to 8
- Wealth produces twice as much
- Spaceship part cost doubled
- Space Flight now requires Satillites, which in turn, requires Rocketry
- Paratrooper Defensive flag checked, this should make the AI use the unit defensively
- Swordsmen now upgrade to knights
- Cure for Cancer wonder now gives 2 happy faces in all cities
- Decreased cost of Longevity wonder to 80
- Communism goverment workers rate increased to 3
- Cavalry now upgrades to Rifleman
- Paratroopers operational range increased to 7
- You can now load Cruise Missles in cities, and airlift them
- Explorer defense decreased to 1, and scout decreased to 0
- The Archer, Longbowman, Marine, Paratrooper, Musketman, Rifleman, Infantry, Catapult, Cannon, Artillary, Bowman, and Musketeer, now have a Zone of Control
- The Chariot, Horseman, Knight, War Chariot, Rider, Mounted Warrior, War Elephant, and all ships no longer have a Zone of Control
- The Nuclear Submarine is now used more often as a offensive unit by the AI
- The Galley is now used more often as a offensive unit by the AI
- Increased the Destroyer attack power to 14, and defense to 10
- Increased the Battleships defense to 16, and it cost to 22, and its bombard strength to 24
- Bombers now upgrade to Stealth Bombers
- Jet Fighter now upgrades to Stealth Fighter
- All ranged land, non-artillary units get a bombardment strength of half their attack power, a range of 1, and a rate of fire of 1
- Frigate attack power increased to 3
- Galleon attack power increased to 2
- Transport attac kpower increased to 3, defense power increased to 10
- Aircraft Carrier defense decreased to 6
- AEGIS Cruiser defense decreased to 14
- Man-O-War attack power increased to 4, defense decreased to 2

- Jaguar Warrior Attack increased to 2.
- Impi attack increased to 2
- You can play the Aztecs, and Zululand in their historic starting locations now also.
- Marines attack and defense raised by 2.
- Added a new unit, the Spy. It is invisible to all units except other spies. Its attack is 6, while its defense is only 1.

- Ships in Ancient period movement is 5, in the Middle Ages, 10, and in the Industrial and Modern Ages, 15.
- Oil is present in the water.
- Timber, a new resource found in forests. It boosts your shield and gold output by 2 on the square it is on.
- Loot, a new luxury sometimes found in goody huts after you search them. It boosts your gold output by 5 on the square it is on.
- The Archer, Longbow, Bowman, Catapult, Galley, Galleon, Frigate, Privateer, Man-O-War, and Caravel now need Timber to be built.
- New type of government, Constitutional. It is a cross between Democracy and Republic.
- The bombardment of all units has been increased, and it now can kill them.
- The F-15s stats have been boosted.
- Chopping down a forest gives 40 shields.
- Laborers produce 1 gold, Scientists produce 3 science, Entertainers produce 2 happy faces, and Tax Collectors produce 3 gold.
- The barbarians name has been changed to Terrorist.
- Terrorist now build Privateers instead of Galleys.
- Minimum population for We Love the King Day has been decreased to 1.
- The fee for doing spy missions (Get map, steal tech, etc) has been greatly reduced.
- The difficulty level Custom you need to play on this level right now.
- Chance to intercept enemy stealth mission increased to 10.
- Maximum tech time decreased to 20.
- Defensive bonuses changed to, Town: 25, City: 50, Metropolis: 100, Fortress: 100, River: 25, Fortifications: 50. Citizens and buildings dont give you bonuses any more.
- Scout movements changed to 1, and set to Use all terrain as roads. Defense changed to 1. Cant attack though.
- Explorer defense changed to 2. Cant attack though. (Did you know that the explorer can pillage in regular, non- edited games?)
- Unit experience levels HP changed, Conscript: 2, Regular: 4, Veteran: 6, Elite: 8
- Wonders dont become obsolete.
- Copernicus Observatory now also gives every city a library.
- Newtons University now also gives every city a university.
- The SETI Program now also gives every city a research lab.
- You can now build research labs after you discover computers.
- All the wonders that only give you their benefits on their continent only, are changed to world-wide benefits.
- You can now build the military academy without a victorious army.
- The Great Wall now also gives you a wall in every city.
- Shakespheres Theater now gives every city a Colosseum, and 2 happy faces.
- You can build cities in ocean terrain. This will be temporary until I can figure out a way to get to the oil through other means. All you have to do to get the oil, is build a harbor, or airport.
- All the terrain food, shield, and gold outputs have been boosted along with the improvements.
- You can play the Americans, Germany, England, France, Japan, China, and Russia in their historic starting locations.
This mod will install new units and change your settings, but it should not affect your other Civilization III games, unless you have other mods installed.
