World server down

All World of Warcraft servers I have characters on are down and so are the battle.net forums.

My life is empty now.

Suggestions?

This is why I don't want Steam, streaming music or video or other remote entertainment and media which could just as easily have been stored at my place!

Suddenly it goes down, and one may not know why or what is wrong, and one definitely can't do anything to try and fix it!

Gotta say, I can't muster any sympathy at all for WoW players. Poor you.

I don't think you understand what Steam does. The files exist on your computer. You can play the games without a connection to the Internet after they've been downloaded and installed.

I play on European servers, they all seem down as I cannot even log in on the 2 or 3 servers that are 'live' in the list.

Sun is already down, so can't look at that.

I'm too old to play outside.

And when I play Civ, I might get hooked on it again, and do nothing else but playing Civ for a week or 2, and that would get in the way of my daily quests in WoW and daily Valor points etc. So that is risky. But if the outage continues much longer, I might as well be forced to do so. My gf is still cleaning the house, so I need to get by at least 1 more hour before she is done and we can watch tv together.

When i used to play wow if a server was down i'd go read the realm forums

You could go and look at the stars, put the radio on, or if you really miss WoW that much draw a tauren the servers may may be back up by then.
