Worldbuilder Scatter Resource question

I noticed when using the scatter resource button in the world builder it places considerably less resources than when the map was first generated.

These resource numbers are checked in SQLite studio

Here is an example of before and after scattering resources with the following map type:

Abundant resource (128x80 map size) Highlands

Before scatter = 2103
After Scatter = 1620


Sparse resource (128x80 map size) Highlands

Before scatter = 1769
After Scatter = 1400


This is the same regardless of map size




Now I'm trying to look for the file that operates the scatter button, currently looking in ResourceGenerator.lua in the following folder:

Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\DLC\Expansion2\Maps\Utility


Any help is appreciated




EDIT:

After some more testing it seems that when using the scatter resource button, it leaves out the majority of the strategic and luxury resources. Bonus resources are largely the same amount, but luxury and strategic are cut down considerably.

Hi, I've been looking all over for an answer to this. I'm at a loss because I accidentally removed the resources, then spent many hours making a map, only come to find the rescatter resources is absolutely pitiful.

I quadrupled the frequencies in the Resources.xml file, and that didn't help. Now I'm looking at the .lua's you mentioned, but I can't figure out what to change.

Did you figure out how to increase the frequencies of "scatter" new resources?
