Would Anyone Appreciate This As Much As Me???

I shall see what I can do..... ;)

It was in my Civ IV files. (I was testing it) Now I am trying to find where I backed it up. I hadn't backed up my civ files since I put it in there, so its somehwere else...

I'm mad at you Seron! X(.png

Is that for post count? :p I just had all my family over for thanksgiving so I had no time. I have also just moved into a new house, so my time is being taken up a lot. Hence, why I have been inactive. I am still looking for the backup....

Keep looking :P we really need that ghost. Also, if you want to add on to the model and make it an actual unit follow the stats the SamSniped make a new pages back. We had a whole discussion about that

Ouch. That sucks. Anyways, sorry I haven't been active(family reasons), but I am back for a couple days. Unfortunately, my mom's computer decided that two days ago was the best time to crash, so now I have to use a Mac :(
So, do you know if XML editing and .txt files from the Notepad on Windows computers are accessible on Macs?

I don't know... you'd have to google it. Such a shame "family reasons" came through ;P not only with you but like... everyone that's contributing lol

You can use TextEdit, which comes with all Mac systems, or any word processor that will save files as type "text". The latter include many free and commercial programs. However, the best way to go is TextWangler, which is free, or its big brother BBEdit, which is commercial. You can find both at the Bare Bones Software website. I think it is called barebones.com. If that doesn't work just google the program names. The advantage of these two programs is that they are intended for use in writing and editing programming and XML of all kinds. They include loads of useful tools for this on the Mac.

TextEdit is fine. It is basically the same as Notepad on Windows. I use it for most of my simple text based stuff. However, I always use TextWrangler for anything involving programming or XML. It adds all kinds of programming tools that you can use, while ignoring all the ones that you don't need. I have heard that BBEdit is even better but TextWrangler works real nice and the price is right - free. Try it, you'll like it if you are doing a lot of this.

that was random :p

what are you going to do though? I don't even know where we should start with this whole thing T-T I've almost completed the map. We really need to get the units down and also the 2 civilizations (possibly use flood as barbarian) not in the main campaign but :p we need everyone at once to contribute (and we need more people)

Hey guys. Sorry for the inactivity. I have just moved and have had to settle in, have had the flu/eye infection, and lots of tests so I have gotten on very much. But I am back now. :) Anyway, I have to remake the ghost file since I can't find the backu, but it shouldn't take very long at all. Sry though.... :(

No problem :D we've all been inactive ;P I'm still trying to lay out how i want this map to be. I think I'm going to use a map generator from a mod and just mod the resources on it
