Garlic bread potato chips.

TIL that Blue Penguins eat potato chips.
They've been using penguins in adds for years.

Throw in child hood memories/kiwi classics and cultural tendencies to like birds and the name of the company.

I would try garlic bread potato chips, although in the package, they look like chicken flavoured chips, which I do not like.

Okay, the penguins in the first video are Adelies. The second looks like Blues.

Does this company use any other kinds of penguins?

No idea I thought you might like them as I know you like penguins.

They used real ones early on.

They're just funny IMHO.

I always appreciate when people post penguin photos and videos. :love:

Yep, Adelies.

The last one is atrocious. The penguins don't look like any particular species; it's like they tossed several of them into a transporter and it combined them.

AND PENGUINS AND POLAR BEARS DO NOT LIVE IN THE SAME HEMISPHERE! :gripe:

Actually they do. There's penguins in the northern hemisphere;).

In zoos. And I have over 100 in my personal collection, but none of them are alive.

The point is that no penguins live in the Arctic, and polar bears do not live in Antarctica.

Google Galapagos Island penguins. Northern hemisphere;).

I have to admit I do not get these threads. Who would not eat those?

What about these? They are quite nice, the closest thing to them is pork scratchings. Slightly more subtle flavour, but very meaty. If I was being critical I was say a little too fatty, a little more than the most highly rendered pork scratchings but a lot less so than the the more soft versions.

@Samson

We all eagerly await your customer satisfaction report on eating meal worms;
preferably embellished with a worm eating video clip of the act as evidence.

No one wants to see a video of me eating anything. Is not my flavour report above enough? Happy to answer any further questions. You know these are a staple in much of the world, I am more worried about the food processing conditions than the source animal.

I thought of those. The Galapagos Islands are nowhere near the Arctic.

The only penguins I've seen live, in-person, were in the Calgary Zoo.

I'd take a guess that, if co-located, polar bears would eat penguins.
Yep, very likely. They're not mammals like the seals or sled dogs or humans, nor are they fish... but they'd make a meal for a polar bear.
