Queen Isabella believes there is a place for slaves in the world. Those of lesser noble breed should serve their masters, who will in turn make sure they are protected and allowed land to live on, places to live, and food to eat. We do not agree with the Portuguese people freeing their slaves, and we fear these former slaves, no longer under the control of their masters, will flee towards our lands. And so a notice was posted on the doors of Fort Aleza on the Spanish-Portuguese border, than any Portuguese who enter Spain shall immediately be deemed as former rebellious slaves, and brought in to work for the Spanish crown. We are working on multiple projects, we can use more slave labor to help us complete them!

Meanwhile, the Queen wishes to announce her opinion on the German declaration of war against the Russians. While Spain does have open borders with Russia, we have no other trade with the lady Catherine. They do not respect the One True Faith of Islam, adopting Judaism as their state religion, and tensions have been high between our nations. While our friends the Germans also have not declared Islam as their state religion, we have at least been able to trade with them in the past. While we do not condone the aggressive declaration by the Germans against the sovereign nation of Russia, we will not come to the aid of the Russians either. We would encourage both sides to work to fix their differences and find a way towards peace.

Pah, the Russians had their chance. They spread like weed, founding outposts in every nook and cranny of our borders. There can be no long term survival for the German people if the Russians are allowed to keep breeding like rabbits. This war will decide over the fates of two peoples, for better or worse.

The unrest has been put down by decisive use of our troops.

We would expect the Evil Spanish to continue to mistreat their own people but thought the French were more civilised.

Only time will tell but we believe that the workers will work harder when free.

A great spiral staircase, reaching up towards Allah, has been completed by the people of Madrid. Some call it a minarets, and people go up there to scream towards their gods. As the people learn to worship and pray towards their gods, but specifically Allah, they have begun to give more and more of their extraneous earnings towards the expansion of the church. This has resulted in a great economic boom for the Spanish crown!
