@Lou Long, Since it would greatly benefit myself, I would agree to a one turn Christmas Truce. Even with the froggies... In fact, if this weren't a scenario and some sort of epic or real life, I would be pursuing peace at the moment...since it isn't (to quote the English), I will fight to the "bloody end."

@Aeon, Thanks for the fine pistol! With the first German lost territory on the Western front I have considered using your instructions but instead decided to take target practice on a life size portrait of our other cousin, King Edward (I believe) of Great Britain. Since you sent it, I did not see it fitting to use it on a portrait of you... However, the instructions may still be used...

Because Russia is rather uninterested in peace right now.

@Aeon, Sorry, German Historians are not allowed to write anything negative about the German Military until after the war...it is called propaganda.

If you post your battles and exploits that you feel are "missing," I will gladly post them...I could even post links to particular post in the first post...hmm, that sounds easiest and least time/space consuming...

Bombardment around Strassburg by 7 210 MM Art.

4 Light Art bombard Russian Territory by Warsaw.

1 210 MM Art bombards Antwerp.

That is all from the Kaiser... He contemplates how to save this game... Just wondering, if this weren't a scenario, would kind of peace terms would you require? I am not thinking about quitting, WE WILL FIGHT TO THE BITTER END, but if it weren't WW1 scenario I would definitely be pursuing peace...

Well, apparently the Germans don't like Xmas.... :-(

Anyway we just cleant areas where a Kav and an Inf were camping, on French territory !
We also lost a Zeppelin while bombarding the Rhur. It was not shot, just got lost because of the pollution there. Poor German citizens... ;p

1915 Week 1

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Not so happy by Strassburg though...
-French losses: 7 Inf R Div
-German losses: Wyorsh's 1st Corps, 6 Kav Div & 3 Inf R Div.

Nice strategy Lou, but I couldn't allow you to keep that mountain...it would be ideal for both launching an attack against Strassburg as well as blocking/bombarding the roads to Strassburg. Also, one of your conscripts was promoted all the way to an elite and even produced a GML so I had to finish off the stack or give you yet another army.

And to all of the allies...I actually think I have a chance of stopping advances on all fronts...I just had another reinforcement of troops (not as big as Russias will be, but of much higher value) and production is now picking up (hydro plants and hospitals completed). I am guessing that The Great War will rage on deep into 1915 and has the chance (providing everyone sticks with it) to push all the way into 1916. However, 52 turns is a long time so we will have to see...

Glad you got reinforcements because I killed a stack near Liege :
7 R Inf and 1 artill 210 mm destroyed for the loss of 1 R Inf.

Bombarded some roads and lost 1 Zeppelin over Frankfurt.
