WW1 Real Time or PBEM

Umm...you just have to have the proper files in your scenario folder...

Then, when you receive an e-mail download the appropriate save to something like Civ3/Conquests/Saves folder and then start to play the game by simply clicking "load game" on the main menu...

Anymore questions, just post them...of course you can play, we just need to know for sure that you have managed to get the scenario to launch so we aren't held up waiting for you...

By the way, from what I can tell Dell19 has the save and it hasn't been passed on as quickly as normally, is this right? No biggie, just nice to know where it is and that it is at least moving along. Please remember to post when you won't be able to play for more than 2 days... Dell19, please confirm with either LouLong or by posting that you have received the turn.

Thanks,
BK

Received and sent. Some bombardment. Little of any note. Looks like Antivari will be under Spanish control on their next move.

All right I got the game working. the link on this thread doesn't work but the one that their page does. Game is working and I am ready. Note also because of the heavy work load I have I may sometimes be late a day or two.

Cheers!

Played and sent.

Antwerp bombarded by Grand Fleet.

Brussels bombed by Zeppelin ... Bomb Shelters destroyed.

Turkish Infantry Northeast of Salonika killed by Infantry.

Attack on Turkish Umm Lajj aborted after 2 Infantry were lost while inflicting no damage at all.

I have sent the Italy password to Music Theory.

I have received the Italy save game file from Detlef ... I thought it should have gone to Music Theory ... I haven't played the turn yet and will not play it for the moment ... is Music Theory in the game or isn't he ?

Umm...personally I want to play badly and would prefer you go, but he said he has things working... Go ahead and e-mail the save and password to him.

His e-mail is: music_theory7 at yahoo dot com

DETLEF, you will now be e-mailing to music theory instead of Dazz G:

Once again his e-mail is: music_theory7 at yahoo dot com

MUCIS THEORY 7, if you do not play and send the game within a day we will have Dazz G play your turn... Please play asap and send it on... you will be e-mailing it to me bmklee at svsu dot edu. Remember to post a battle report of which there are numerous examples of in here. Post all units used in the attack, what enemy units you defeated, and how many units you lossed.

Thanks,
BK

I have recieved it and have tried to dowload the attachment but for some reason it saids that I do not have the appropriate program to open it. Sorry for my many delays but can you guys help me out?

Just save the attachement on ur desktop, don't try to open it.
Put it in your C3C/saves folder then start Civ3 C3C and choose load game.

Or save the file directly into your saved games folder. I usually create a new folder for each PBEM to prevent having a huge number of saved games in a list.

Thanks you guys. Play and sent.

Italy reports static warfare on all fronts. Adriantic fleet encountering strong Austrian fleet resistance.

Sends it's thanks to the French Fleet for assistance.

So where did you send it? I still have yet to receive the e-mail...and just want to confirm that you did in fact send it to em. Umm...Which account did you send it to?

Please reply asap as I am anxious to see what the Limey's have in store for me in Belgium.

Thanks,
The Kaiser (BK)

P. S. It has been a few hours now and I think you should try sending it to both my e-mail addys for the first two turns until we figure out which one works better... I also e-mailed you so try to respond ASAP!

music theory7 I still have not received the saved file at the time of this post... Please respond to one of the e-mails...

Well lets see... I sent it in a reply to a earlier e-mail you sent me, I sent it again. Did you get it? I just noticed that you guys check the forums very often. I will do the same.

Oh by the way I got a e-mail saying the e-mail could not be recieved by you because your mailbox was too full or that it was beyond your support limit.

Alright...I think i have it as of this post...

Thanks for checking often man and I think you should stick with my HOTMAIL account as i have received the e-mail and attachment...

Dazz did you get my e-mail about the plan? let us give it a codename: so we can talk about it on the forum.

I have just received it ... forwarded it to France and Russia.

I'm not sure that it is wise to discuss it on the forum, even using a codename though ... no point in giving the enemy warning that an operation is imminent.

1914 Week 41

The German Military spent much of its time strengthening defensive positions the past week with the only military engagement involving Falkenhayn's 4th Corps (Ger) def. 1 Inf R Div (Fr).

EDIT: 2 Railguns bombarded the Grand Fleet in the English Channel.

The Kaiser and German Military is concerned of a joint British and French Offensive in the upcoming week. Although not sure, current troop locations indicate a British attack on either Antwerp or perhaps Brussels in Belgium. Meanwhile, a stack of advancing French Troops indicates an attack along in the Metz/Nancy sector of the front probably aimed at Metz itself. German officials are struggling to strengthen all border cities along the Western Front as it appears that Entente Powers are preparing to bring the war to the Fatherland. The Kaiser and German Military hope that they can halt the British led Entente Offensive which has moved slowly but surely the past several weeks. MAY GOD SAVE THE FATHERLAND!!!

GPS to Russia...
