WW2 Global Gold

Congratulations for finishing this scenario.;)

Thank you Nexxo.

When I make scenario , I then put all unit to map and start game to see if game will start. If something with unit is wrong, the game will eject you out. Then you can repair what is wrong. That process work because when I was playing my own scenarios, I never have problems with units error.

There is one thing that is very limited for me, and that is time. I have a fulltime job and at present more than a fulltime job. When I was a student I did what you posted, too. Even with CCM and only some hundreds of units this was possible. With SOE and tons of units I didn´t have the time any longer to do this. That´s why I asked civers to do prebetatests, but there was next to no feedback in that time.

version:
to put Iraq, instead of Colombia. (Colombia+Venezuela)?:)
Iraq - enter Axis.

Haddu, that´s an interesting suggestion, but I don´t want to change Rocoteh´s settings. This is Rocoteh´s scenario (only with a graphical update). :)

And thank you all very much for your kind words. :)

I have a similar concept for Storm over the World, starting with Operation Barbarossa in June 41 and "sleeping" US units until December 1941. The SOE files still hold most of the needed units. :)

Looks nice, Civ. Great work.

I had been working with Moff J on his WW2 Global Reloaded 2 before he stopped, and ultimately hoped to make a similar 1941 scenario from that, though I hadn't decided whether to start the game in June or December. It will be interesting to see your SOTW scenario when that is ready.

It starts in May 41 :) with the fight Bismarck vs. Hood and Prince of Wales, but May/June 41 will be one turn - so this is only future. :)

Do you know, why Moff stopped modding?

I'm making World Front which start in 1941 and will have Persia and Iraq on Axis side.
But I'm busy for the moment and don't know when will be finished.
Yes, very good.

Rocoteh may not be against?
Let Iraq come into Allies.
Iraq here is more important than Colombia.

No idea. I haven't heard from him and he removed all his materials from the threads. Too bad, his version 2 was fun, had a great soundtrack and was already incorporating new units like tom2050's stuff at that time.

I am ready to Scenario with Iraq. I can put it up?

Haddu, this is Rocoteh´s scenario. I respect this and I hope you respect this, too. Please use it as your own personal scenario and don´t load it up.

it was a great game with germany until 'FİLE NOT FOUND Art/Units/J041 Chi-Ha/AttackA.flc' please help civinator:sad:

This error was still reported by Haddu: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=11290137&postcount=18

It will be fixed with the next patch. Meanwhile you can fix it by yourself. You only have to klick to the folder Art/Units/J041 Chi-Ha: You open the folder and simply rename the file Attack to AttackA. It is a flc-file. Than you should be able to continue your game. :)

Playing Germany week 35: Missing entry in "Scenarios\Storm over Europe C3C\text\Pedialcons.txt" WON_SPLASH_BLDG_SETI_Program
Is there a fix for this?
Hello everyone. I have been a long time fan of WW2 Global, from version 2.2 to 2.6 and now Gold. Thank you Rocoteh, Meateater and Civinator.:)

Niminator, welcome to CFC :band:[party] and thank you for your kind words and for reporting an error. :)

Attached is a new pediaIcons-file that should fix the error and give the SW Iron Works the splash of the Krupp-Works (and the building files). You only have to unzip that file and copy it over the Storm over Europe C3C\text\Pedialcons.txt file in the Storm over Europe C3C folder. Than you should be able to continue your game. With the next SOE-Patch I will do a solution also replacing the SETI-graphics in the buildings-large and -small files.

Edited: Fixed PediaIcons-file removed, as a new fixed pediaicons file is posted here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=11342377&postcount=43
