1.Very good, this way I won't have to put up with these pesky Afghan workers trying to build a colony on the Sinai anymore.

2.That will delay the conquest of Denmark some, interesting
4. + 5. + 6. Hmm perhaps this will make the German player let these countries be steamrolled by the Soviets, in order to retake them as German cities, perhaps the soviets do get as far as Albania to get rid of this little nuisance as well. I wonder if it is possible to lure Yugoslavia into a war with the Soviets so they might advance even deep into Italy ...:crazyeye:
With 2.4 I will look forward to an early war with the soviets in 2.4 :D
 
I think the axis minors will be steam rolled by the Soviet Union.

Having played Russia in a test i did concerning japans aggression razing there level by 1 got Russia in a early war turned out to be not good for Russia some of the reasons for this is at the beginning Russias economy is not good at the start plus there infantry planes and tanks are weak at the start and with so much territory to defend made it real easy for Germany to take lots of citys from Russia. in a early war Russia was unable to defend the cities in the west so im not so sure its a good idea to get Russia in a early war and things went sour very quickly but thats my opinion from the play testing i have done while playing Russia.but all was not lost japan was more aggressive.:crazyeye:
 
Some solutions might be from my previous post could be to place artillery units on the border and more defensive units in the cities bordering Germany and Russia to slow down a German advance.Or you will see the German AI do like they do against the French and over run them quickly I know from history Germany did advance well into Russia but wasnt until allmost 1942 or later before Russia started to make a comeback. which i dont think the AI has the ability to do like Russia did during the war. so caution must be taken to stop the AI from doing this if possible.

Sardinia seems to be a standard goal for US AI!
I have seen invasion of Sardinia reported many times.

I found it a wonderful objective as the player but the British beat me to it.

3. The submarine-force of Norway-Denmark replaced with
Light Coastal Flotilla units.

4. Romania Civ introduced. (Alliance with the Axis)

5. Hungary Civ introduced. (Alliance with the Axis)

6. Bulgaria Civ introduced. (Alliance with the Axis)

7. Autoproduction in Sofia, Bucharest and Budapest removed to reduce risk
of autorazing by AI.

4, 5 and 6 will make it harder (and thus more interesting) to play Germany.

8. Peru merged with Colombia.

This sounds like a sound change. Can this also conserve cities for placement elsewhere or are we going to wait for the Editor Changes to eliminate some of these restrictions.

I can not say when that will take place since events in the world outside
Civ will consume much time the months to come.

Maybe two versions of this scenario should be created, one the historical version and the other includes all units that were in development during WW2 but never completed during the time period or were scrapped.

Just a suggestion, since this matter has been debated here ever since the Stone Age. Just a proposal, after all.
 
I didnt know until about a year ago that Japan was close to making there own atom bomb at the end of the war. the materials they needed to complete it was being shipped by Germany to Japan and was intercepted by the US right at the end of the war or a day or 2 after the war was over alot of people didnt know this. I know i didnt until I seen it on the history channel wish i could remember the name of the program.
 
Yes. Ironically the material U 234 was transporting was badly needed in the US facilities to build more war heads, as there was not enough material...
There are also rumors of a German nuclear bomb tested in March 1945.

An interesting idea.

Its unclear how much time I will be able to allocate for scenario-creation
during 2007.
WW2-Global and The Great War-Division Level will have priority though.
I doubt there will be any new versions of Barbarossa.

I guess it is the same problem as with these prototype "ueberunits", by the time one reaserches them the game is already won /decided pretty much of the time.
