I think you should add an American airbase in the UK historically the US had many planes based in the UK during WW2.
 
Please rename Rabat Casablanca.
I think USA looks better as dark green.
 
Understood, Can the 3 additional ports be considered especially in a multi-player environment or else the US Navy will never keep up with the Japanese.

Rocoteh and all others: To avoid city razing try to use skyer2's patch. I tried it and it seems to work. Then we have also no problems with so many phony wonders.

I will upload version 2.4 tomorrow.

After that it will take at least 3-4 months until its time for version 2.5.
Thus there will be much time to evaluate if skyer2s patch work 100%.

I have been so immersed in 2.2 that I didn't even realize there was a 2.3 out. And now 2.4 is coming out tomorrow! Christmas comes early for me this year.

I have played as the US, France, UK, Soviets, Germany, Italy and Japan in 2.2. I enjoyed playing all of them. Do you have any particular requests for playtesting in 2.4?

I tried the patch i have civ3 complete seems that badkharma's exe file is the only one that works after patched. the patch doesnt work for me gives a error message and doesnt patch even though it does for him very strange. unless someone uploads a exe file that works after patched. otherwise alot of people wont be able to enjoy this fix.
 
2.4, eh? Once I download that this weekend (after I get out of college for winter break) I'll try to complete a game using the limited production variant I was talking about before. If I do really well as Germany, maybe I'll try it as the US too. :) Good show, Rocoteh! Most scenarios would be dead, buried, and forgotten about by now. I can hardly believe this is still running!

1.The airbase on Iwo Jima is owned by Germany. BTW I think you should add a special fortress to Iwo Jima.

OK, these problems have been solved.

Version-name is still 2.4 since there were only 3 downloads with the bug.

The first version was released December 20, 2004.

1. Soviet favorite government now fascism.

2. Removed Finlands submarines and replaced them with
Light Coastal Flotillas.

3. New unit: Fixed Coastal Defence placed for Finland.
It will prevent Soviet submarines to enter the Baltic.
This is realistic since German minefields did prevent Soviet submarines
from any major role in the Baltic until 1944.

1-3 should decrease the risk for an early unrealistic Soviet-AI
attack on Germany.

4. Changed Finlands government to fascism for the same reason as above stated.

5. AA-cruisers will no longer detect submarines.

6. All governments will now use paid labour. The reason is that forced
labour will be used by AI to decrease the population of cities in an
unrealistic way.

7. Bordeaux and Toulouse will cease to autoproduce units.
The Algiers wonder and the New Caledonia wonder will make that instead.
The New Caledonia wonder will allow trade by air and sea with
the French homeland. Also added 2 victoty point locations to New Caledonia.

8. Placed Scapa Flow.

9. Placed Rabaul with Victory point location.

10. Placed Dutch harbour with Victory point location.

11. Placed Saipan with Victory point location.

12. Placed Kwajalein with Victory point location.

13. Added Victory point locations for Guam and Truk.

14. Added Iwo Jima and Midway (no cities) with Victory point locations
and airfields.

15. Added new unit Carrier J (Kaga and Akagi)

16. Afghanistan now a part of Persia.

17. Norway and Denmark merged into the new Civ Norway-Denmark.

18. The submarine-force of Norway-Denmark replaced with
Light Coastal Flotilla units.

19. Romania Civ introduced. (Alliance with the Axis)

20. Hungary Civ introduced. (Alliance with the Axis)

21. Bulgaria Civ introduced. (Alliance with the Axis)

22. Autoproduction in Sofia, Bucharest and Budapest removed to reduce risk
of autorazing by AI.

23. Peru merged with Colombia
