YnAMP sub-project: True location corresponding city names

I'm currently working on the localisations for the Balkans and Central & Eastern Europe.

EDIT: I stopped working on it. I'm not really satisfied with the work I have done, so I discarded it. Feel free to work on these areas.

I see that the Giant Earth map has been completed and that it already has good coverage on many regions but was wondering if I could help fill it in some more; I've noticed that some cities in China and Japan extend for three or four hexes from its location but I feel like there could be more suitable cities in those areas, would that be a good initiative?

im posting my tool for city map creation here in case it can help someone.
it's a simple HTML page that you can open up locally and start writing according to the hexes.
github here: https://github.com/jiafish1/CityMapCreator
in the repo i have an existing greatest earth map folder that anyone can work out of directly.
here are some pictures

simply insert the name into the input section. with space or _, upper case, lower case, doesn't matter.

at the end, click export to xml button and you get these codes generated

for new names to make it into translation table, click export to translation xml.

I see there are very few posts here, but in my opinion the real city naming is what makes Civ 6 really great! Did anybody work on true city naming for the YnAMP 'large Europe'?

FYI: I started working a little bit on the city names. I changed ARABIC to OTTOMAN where there was a "Turkish" tag, added the Byzantine name for Byzantium, duplicated some Greek city names for Macedon and Byzantium, added some Gaulish city names. I'll send a pull request when I'm finished.

Does the names work on downscaled maps? Since the giant earth does not work in later game.

It works on sub-regions of the map when you select them, yes.

Should works also on Terra Map with smaller size and landmass values close to real continents shape.

Sent pull request with the following changes:
* Istanbul: Byzantine name (Kōnstantinoupolis)
* changing ARABIA to OTTOMAN where there is a "Turkish" tag
* duplicating copying Greek names for Macedon and Byzantium (finished up to, not including Germany)
* Greek (Macedonian, Byzantine) name for Nantes
* Gaulish names for Amiens, Arras, Bern, Besancon, Bourges, Caen, Calais, Coutances, Dijon, Le Havre, Le Mans, Limoges, Lyon, Metz, Nantes, Orléans, Paris, Perpignan, Poitiers, Reims, Rennes, Rouen, Saint Etienne, Saint Nazaire, Tours, Troyes, Vichy
* Added "Aduatuca" as city name for Gaul on Tongeren starting location
* Orléans: changed Orléans to default (instead of unaccented)
It's slightly out of date, so there might be some missing lines.

thanks merged.

I don't think it will be an issue with Orléans anyway, and I don't remember if we've talked about that previously, but shouldn't we use En/US city names by default ?
