My dad is better than me at everything, and anything that goes wrong in his life is my fault.

If your dad has said that to you, it proves that in fact he just wants someone to blame, which means that he isn't strong enough to take responsibility from his mistakes, which means that you're actually a better person than him.

He probably wins a friendly fight, if we cwere trying to kill each other I might hage a shot, but he'd sill probably win.
In the end he's a black belt in Aikido I'm a 5th Kyu, so his techniques are way better, but I'm stronger, faster, and younger so I wouldn't be completely trashed.

Me... But then he's married I've just been ditched twice... Though I think I'm better overall at that, just from the occasional conversations I have with him where I realize our interests at my age were totally different. I talk to my friends about girls, videogames, and music. I actually had to explain this to him and he told me he talked to his friends about math proofs when they hung out. So think he was a massive nerd, I'm a nerd, but not as massive...

I was able to answer them all but #10. Define 'smart' for me please.

In my case, my dad had 3 college degrees and was a law school grad. I only have an associates. And yet, I have been far more successful than he in pretty much every aspect of my life.

Also, my dad may have had all those degrees, but he was a mechanical idiot. For example, I had to make small repairs around the house like fixing the doorbell, for the simple reason my dad couldnt figure it out without some injury ensuing. He would simply pay money for someone else to fix it for him than try to figure it out for himself.

So who would be smarter?

Definitely Dad again. He was a professional musician and I don't even play an instrument anymore.

Still to be determined. I think my dad was a slightly better student, but I'm not sure if there ever will be a discernable gap in smartness.

I'm closing the gap in this department I think, because I've always taken after him; we're to the point where we can play off each other's jokes, but he still makes me laugh a lot more than I do him; he's just a bit quicker to the punch than I am.

Again, I'm still learning, but he knows much more about spices and such than I.

No one knows where I got this from, because neither side has any musicians by bloodline. I have an uncle who plays in a bluegrass group, but he's married to my pop's sister, so we're not related.

He has 30 years more experience than I do. I might be booksmart in my field, but the wealth of information and knowledge in that man's head is amazing, whether it's fixing the pipes under the house, identifying the stars in the sky, knowing when to plant the corn, or how to go nearly anywhere within a hundred miles without using a single major highway.

I suppose due to the fact that he is older than me he will know more about girls. But I do fancy myself as a little charmer sometimes.

I think my humour comes partly from him; he is funny. I'm not sure who is funnier of the two of us though.

He used to play football and I believe he still does. Therefore he is a better athlete than I.

He is older than me, therefore he is likely to be a better cook than me, and he is.

My dad does not have any qualifications, but he owns a few houses and learnt Italian within 18 months fluently, although I am also very clever. Not sure on this one.

Tough call. My dad used to be hardcore into wrestling, and probably still knows a few tricks. But nowadays he's terribly out of shape. I however, know nothing about fighting, except how to swing fists.

I'd say I've got him edged out on this one. He's more awkward around the ladies than I am and IIRC didn't get his first kiss till he was ~24. Me, I've already passed that milestone long ago.

Me once again. Even back in his younger days dad had unsightly cokebottle glasses. I wear the contacts. I think he even told me once that I'm more presentable than he is.

I'd say me again. I'm more glib and can make people laugh easier, even non-verbally.

Tough call. Back in his prime dad was certainly a better athlete than I am now, but of course seeing as he's 54 I've got him beat at the moment.

I am definitely more coordinated than he is, and have faster reaction times. I can juggle 5 balls easily, he could only ever do 3.

Then again, he told me that the lowest pulse he ever recorded was 35, at the peak of his wrestling training. Lowest pulse I've ever recorded was 45, at the peak of my tennis/soccer training.

I guess that moves it to his favor.

Well, we both suck at this really. We each know only one dish by heart.

I guess I'll give it to me though, since the stuff I know how to make I consider to be yummier.

I'd say it's me. Though I don't really play an instrument anymore I used to play a lot of different instruments (Bass Clarinet, Saxophone, Piano, Drums) and could probably pick up any of them again if I really wanted to.

Dad only knows how to play a little guitar.

Tough call once again. We are smarter in different areas. Dad is big into science, math, technology, that sort of thing. I'm more into history, music, geography, the arts, etc. We both overlap when it comes to politics.

However, since he's been on this planet 3 times as long as I have, I'll grant him the edge.

I'll catch up to him soon enough, however.

1.) My dad was in the military so I am sure he would be better in a fight.
2.) My dad knows a lot about cars and I know very little. No contest.
3.) I pride myself in my knowledge of computers/technology but my dad wins here no contest.
4.) My dad is married and fathered me. He knows more about women than I do.
5.) No idea but I am sure my dad is better looking for his age group than I am in mine. Plus he is 3 inches taller.
6.) Yes! I'm funnier! Though to be fair we have to very different types of humor.
