Well I hope the bell didn't come too soon... but I'd better act quickly and get Berlin before the Allies... trust me you are NOT getting Moscow OR Stalingrad Mr. Hess...

Sure, Mr.Stalin, whatever you want.....

It sure is pitiful how much the Germans underestimate us...

- The remaining fighter wing near Lwow is ordered to sucide bomb the city. It does reasonable damage but is destroyed in the process, but as is the cost of war it was expected. An undectected battalion of BT-7 Tanks neaby finishes off the garrison in Lwow, and is poised to occupy the city within a week.

- Soviet Naval forces nearby Riga destroy the Nazi garrison there, and a battalion of BT-7 tanks occupy the city!

Mr. Hess, you vastly underestimate the might of the Russian peoples...

author's note:

Because of AoA's suggestion, the BT-7 in this version has better stats than the BT-7 in version 2.0.

Uh another thing: Why does the civilopedia say incorrect movement points? The spitfire has 5 movement but it says only three in the civilopedia, and the Soviet Infantry has one movement but the civilopedia says 0:confused:

 Don't care for Riga ;) Have fun with it. France almost entirely conquered, Lwow secured, reinforcements on their way, British carrier, troop transport and some planes sunk/destroyed. Soviet BT-7 and fighter destroyed as well.

Sorry to butt in, but I just posted the same thing in my ZWK game thread. Most of the unit stats seem wrong as far as movement points go.

Well, nobody ever said winning World War II was gonna be easy.

More disasters on the continent:

- Although no true "siege of Dunkirk" has happened in this alternate history, a parallel has emerged in the ashes of what was once Cherbourg. It's transports sunk, the occupation force for the city is now trapped on a peninsula to be gobbled up, although they should at least waste some enemy shields, as an AA Battery digs in to defend a small infantry force.

- Six divisions at sea and within two turns of Brest, but it seems we are already at the beginning of France's end. Regardless, it will take quite a garrison to keep your coastal cities long, Mr. Hess.

On the bright side:

- Yet another Wolfpack sunk off the American coast, and planes search further for an expected few more.

- Another German battleship is at the bottom of the North Sea, probably the Tirpitz. I suggest the Fuhrer give up on the oceans, while I should probably give up on land.

- Spitfire recon has assured our hopes in North Africa there is nothing but petty militias throughout Italian Libya. For that matter, I assume it is the same between Tobruk and the Alps, with the exception of one battleship. The Italians are hereby irrelevant to the process.

- Despite the protest of anti-communist public opinion. top secret tech exchanges between the Allies and the Soviet Union commence. This will vastly improve the Allied lacking in armor and the Russian lacking in planes.

Is it only the civpedia. Are the stats atleast correct in the production menu?

I think the stats are alright there.

----------------------------------

Comrade Stalin sees the dire situation in Minsk, but a nearby fighter squadron hasn't enough fuel to reach Minsk, so it attacks a He- 111 bomber squadron, unsuccesfully. A second squadron is ordered into Minsk.

With the new technology from the Lend-Lease Act, spitfires are being produced in many cities, others are producing wellingtons. We know they will help us greatly in the defense of Russia.

Mr. Hess of the Axis had better be wary of the threat imposed by a multiple front war. With the Allies conquering North Africa and bombarding northern France, and the Soviets putting up resistance in the east, Germany may fall quicker than we may expect.

The Soviet Union will not surrender!

This is probably due to that the road modifier is not 3. civilopedia always uses 3 regardless the true number.

I thought of that, but it is also incorrect for planes and ships. Would that affect those units as well? The stats in the production menu do seem to be correct though.

IIRC, transports are listed as 1 movement, but are actually 2, the spitfire is listed as 3, but moves 5, m3 is listed as 2, but moves 3.

willem?

This can't be right: all my production lines have been changed. This happened too in the other ZWK game (to Morten), but that was after a city of his was taken, nothing like that happened here, right?

This happened to me too, but I thought it off as maybe I forgot to Control-N that time... does forgeting to cntl-n affect other players as well?

This happened to sas in the other ZWK PBEM, and he did his Ctrl-N religiously. Then he installed some Lazyciv file or something, not sure. Check out that thread, because I think that thing fixed it.
