Well, they are wayyyyy different from your ho hum merchant ships who might fork for the Ainbridge Fleet. It is an entirely seperate culture of navy.

There were several ships called "King's Ships" which are purpose built for war. They can be appreviated KS or HMS (his magesties). In the same way, Ainbridge Living Fleet and the Living ships are purpose built for war and for protecting trade. ALS serves to let all understand, no you can't simply stand up to a Living ship!
