  • Well, they are wayyyyy different from your ho hum merchant ships who might fork for the Ainbridge Fleet. It is an entirely seperate culture of navy.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Navy#Development_of_England.27s_navy

There were several ships called "King's Ships" which are purpose built for war. They can be appreviated KS or HMS (his magesties). In the same way, Ainbridge Living Fleet and the Living ships are purpose built for war and for protecting trade. ALS serves to let all understand, no you can't simply stand up to a Living ship!

If you think it is really bad, I can stop doing it.
But the Order of Esalos is linked by following the god Esalos whereas Coralfire Pirates are linked by a more vague precept of greed, which exists pretty much everywhere.

Yes, I get why you call them Coralfire Pirates. It's just a stat for a degree of corruption/blackmarket prevalent in the entity.

I do sometimes call people who live around Rocky Mountains as"Rockys" though, just as I sometimes call people from New England "New Englanders" or just as when I call people from Himalaya "Himalayans."

Nicknames can be made by just about everyone for just about everything in my opinion.
Sorry, I'll have something up today hopefully. It's been a bit busy coming up to finals week and all.
By the way, now that I think about it, should I even be writing responses to lj's stories, or you?
It's fine. Sorry I haven't been writing too much. During the break I was a bit busy. Hopefully I can give it more attention.
Well you can if you like, but I'm planning on developing a story arc here. I actually got on to start writing the next story.

Thanks, by the way! I'm rather interested by Sekai.
Lol, give me a couple weeks, this semester is almost over, then I'll be in like something that rhymes with in! When does it start up again?
Hi, I really wish I could but I have hardly time for my current responsibilities. Sekai seems like the type of NES I want for my first but it's just not the time for it :) If you could make it into a NPC that would be swell. I'll be following Sekai and would love to see it developed.
(on that note: I was thinking that the humans pressed the casteless into building a large castle on top of the mountain.. maybe some sort of wonder :p)
Yeah I still am, sorry I haven't gotten around to posting anything, I've been swamped lately with stuff with school and ROTC...yeah, but I promise to get around to joining your NES lol I really am excited for Sekai II!
My orders are done. I just need to do spending tomorrow morning and I will send them off. Thanks for not NPC'ing me. I promised you a story as well and I haven't forgotten said promise.
    Hey!
    1) Any trade with the powers allowed? There are some areas where it might be possible- Red sea area, Central Asian Inland Sea, ect.
    2) I think Sekai is a little big if the two powers really doesn't care for it, unless it actually doesn't have petroleum/aluminum/modern resources worth fighting over and/or they didn't really notice Sekai's rebirth from a WWI-esque hell hole since they are too busy conquering the unknown. Even if it is a giant slave farm, it is worth the space. I suggest adding a few islands leading off Kandora to the east (leading to the eastern theater of conflict with Tyurvial) and stretching out Tyurvial a bit, extenting it south.
Don't take this Seriously of course. Just annoying me. It is definately better than what I can come up with. :p
    3) Is the southern Horde an India/Arabian combination-esque thingy? Fun!
thanks very much! I joined at the start but have been mostly inactive. I'm just getting back into it. Also looking forward to your race getting in on the action :)
I'm trying to judge if I have the time to properly dedicate myself to your NES- I very much dislike joining something while failing to participate properly.
