I think that was built for demo purposes using the map editor.

Nice. As I suspected, the Emancipation Gate is the same as the Exodus Gate, except with a Supremacy Yellow glow.

Given that the Mind Flower is so distinct, perhaps the emancipation gate graphics right now are just placeholders?

I don't think so. The artwork in the quest log for the Emancipation victory looks the same, and that presumably took some effort.

Sad. Hoping it'd be more distinct though. There are so many examples of "gates" in sci-fi and fantasy they could draw from.

I'm thinking Stargates from SGU and Warp Gates from Starcraft. XD

I still have a small sliver of hope that only one warpgate can be built (I mean, it's called a planetary wonder after all!) and all the purity and supremacy factions have to race to build it and then fight over it. :devil:
