Yes, it seems Chandragupta disbanded all his units that required maintenance (archers and varus) and kept his warriors (which require no maintenance).
However, what did trigger the AI to do that?
I only took around 200 flat gold from him and he still has 53gpt to work with (and this with no units disbanded T105).

If he still had 53 GPT then that is too much for district maintenance alone so I guess this is querying the logic of what happened which could be a bug. Apologies for the disturbance.

I thought, this is standard repertoire. ALL strong players on youtube do "excessive milking empty" of the AIplayer's Gold stock for amenities, resources and now Diplomatic Favour ...

Any difference when selling them separate for lower gold? Maybe he has a target sum he needs and therefor disbands units.
