1.3!

2 servers? Upload to rapidshare, mediafire, megaupload, there are plenty of options, AFAIK, those hosters are hard to pin down.

Please keep in mind, I can only upload a file of that size to one site at a time. So I used the one that has historically been the most reliable.

Hey Valkrionn, I could try uploading it to a mirror while you upload it at another place, don't you think? Just need the Inno file after all :)

Tell me on #erebus when you're home!

Will do. The script is pretty easy. ;)

An hour? Wow!, I though that americans were proud of having the fastest internet connection of the entire world.
Florida is supposed to be a developed area, Isn't it?

Few things.... First off, hour or two to get home.

Second... The upload will be around 3 hours, minimum. Uploads take time, and I'm a student; I can not afford an amazing connection, here.

They don't call it the United States of California without good reason I guess...

Do you have an 1mb/sec connection?

Which of those is the most reliable connection?

Most reliable is for Valk to upload it to someone who will host a torrent. I would do it but my upload's not that flash - only 384 kbit/sec.

:yumyum::drool:Soon so soon we will have it:drool::yumyum:

:thanx: For putting up with us begging  for 1.3 :hatsoff:

Heh, no problem. :p

Poor bastard. Hate south Florida.

A swamp full of oil, as I've read...

Actually not. It hasn't affected my area at all, aside from killing tourism (a mixed blessing; no tourists, but few jobs)

Do you have an 1mb/sec connection?

No idea off the top of my head. I believe I do, as far as downloads go; upload rate is different.

I'm a little concerned about the farm and mine spawning resources that can't be utilized by the farm or mine. I'm kind of a dunderhead about keeping track of discovered resources (and Civ 4 is not entirely consistent in its notifications that resources have been discovered), so I was wondering if there was any new way to draw our attention to mismatched resources/improvements. I would assume we get the old blue circle if a worker is active in that city's radius, but once I've improved all the plots around a city, I don't tend to go back looking around it.

I'm actually very concerned about not being able to spam quarries with the Scions or pastures with the Khazad and Sheaim, but I guess I'll just have to figure that out as we go.

If you had automated workers on, they'd sort it out for you.
They'd probably sort a lot of other things out as well

do you think contacting on of these people ( http://www.moddb.com/staff ) would expedite the situation, or just make us look like jerks?

Probably the latter unfortunately. They have their priorities, and I suspect we're right down the bottom of the list.

Back to the ol' times of civ4 where you spammed cottages & workshop...:D

The first thing that I gonna do when 1.3 is released and ready to play, is to play with Mazatl, they're so darn cute! I luv them!

The most reliable is the hosted that has never corrupted our files, never given me problems before; ModDB.

Again, I really don't want to use torrents. That would be a last resort. I have several hosts I can use first.

Er, I don't really trust automated workers. I keep switching mods and having the options go back to defaults and I forget to tell the buggers not to build over old improvements. I only automate workers when there are roads that need building or in the end game when I'm mopping up and don't care what they do.

And if you tell them not to replace improvements they won't replace your farms/mines with quarries/pastures/wineries either.

I haven't used automated workers since three months after Civ 4's original release :)
With regards to roads, that's what Alt+R is for!

It was just a suggestion, that's all :D

Alt R? Yeah, I really need to bother reading documentation. I didn't know you could set rally points for newly built units until I lucked on a hint in a loading screen. I guess if there was an alternative order for workers "Match resources to Improvements" I might use that.

I don't automate workers, I use the trade network option. They improve resources and connect resources and cities with roads. They never build anything but road on non resource squares

Alt R is route to mode. It lets you build long stretches of road(to outlying cities and resources) with two clicks.

Go to plus build a road. Cuts on worker micro managing. I hate auto workers.
