On a related note, tipping most of the time seems silly to me. I'd rather have it be part of the bill than to add on (curse you USA!).

97% of the time when I'm at an eating establishment that has tipping, I interact with the waiter for like 2 minutes to order my food. And the people I eat with (family, or friends) are quick too with the waiter.

I'd rather have the bill just be like 13% more than be judged for tipping 10-15% (when people want you to tip like 18-20%), or feel jipped when I tip the 15-20% to someone who I talked to for a total of 2 sentences.
