#1PerNES: New Start

The whole order of combat and buying things is done sort of randomly, often depending on the exact tactics people use. Also keep in mind how Carthage and Rome and Egypt spend money on ships too.

I'm sorry, but that's not an adequate answer.

-How many new ships did Carthage and Rome recruit?
-The above differences were small enough that it should have taken them some time to defeat the forces already there, especially given that they were in multiple groups.
-I also recruited large numbers of merchant ships into the navy. That shouldn't take any time to accomplish, since new ships were being built.
-Even if all of that didn't occur, what did the 40 triremes do after being built? It would seem likely that they would join up with my still-substantial force and attempt to re-establish naval supremacy. And you don't talk about that at all.

To Egypt
From China

We want Creuta!

My stats should show another city...

Cities: Rome, Capua. But it only shows Rome. Could you please add Capua?

Use your immagination. The mod doesn't need to bother himself with the little pieces of information, that's for the storywriter. I agree that some things are odd about the update, but simplicity is better to keep the updates rolling and storywriters can keep using their immagination.

I agree that simplicity is better for this NES, but I'm annoyed that the vast majority of my ships seem to have just sat around and done nothing.

Stats have not yet been updated. Wars are won by statigy, and if people give effective strategies against their opponents, they will be properly rewarded.

Sovie Carthag invested money into spies thinking that the barbarians might try some sneaky tactic, which they did, as such, the enemy tactics were rendered ineffective.

Carthage managed to give specific orders which managed to capture the area around Syracuse, as they had allied help. (btw, they invested all their money in triremes too).

I was rushed in the update because the actual update was far lengthier but on my now broken computer. As such I summarized it all, However I used the same numbers.

I just want to know why there wasn't a counter-attack....

To The Zemeckis
From The Sovie-Carthan Empire

This war has gone on long enough, we seek peace... We have proven we are willing to fight and you have proven you arre willing to do the same. We would like to offer the following terms:

-Borders be returned to pre-war status
-All Zemeckis and Sovie-Carthan Prisoners be returned

These are the terms we offer. You can take them or you can make your own offer, but we shalln't bow down to you. If this war continues we will fight on and it will only equal in more deaths.

OCC: Nice Update! I will be active once again. I apologize just keep missing things. I want to play in this but just keep missing deadline.

Zemeckis Army to Soviet-Carthage

Zemeckis offers to leave for 2 economy points. This is reasonable, considering you will lose more than that if we continue to fight. Keep in mind, you have the future of your nation to think about. Zemeckis only fights for it's pride. We do not care for lands. We do not have to think about the future of our nation. We have no nation. If we die on our way to the promised land, we were never meant to get there. You have a nation, and therefor must think of it's future expansion and it's liveability considering the fact that you are practically defenseless. Think this over well. This war has cost you much. It will cost much more than 2 economy points if you keep it going. Who knows, we may come to believe this is our promised land, if we have to keep fighting so hard for it.

If the Zemeckis care not for land then we offer you this. We will pay the 2 Eco Points however we would like the lands you once controlled around the Black Sea and possible as far as the Crimea. If this can be met then we could have peace...

(Also, If I get peace, my Capital is to be restored to Blavonograd)

Whatever. We Take whatever you want of those lands. Whatever your soldiers can claim is your business. Once we get the money, we leave all this behind us. Your capitol, too, is your business once we leave.

*This is just a one term thing right? Cause all I have is 2 points...

Yes. (10 Characters)

can i pay you 1 this turn and 1 the next?

I need to rebuild Blavonograd (The ity with my name is in ruins :( )

No (10 Characters) after you pay me, I leave. Then you can devote the whole of your resources to a well planned city.... Oh look, I don't need (10 characters) anymore :p

Maybe I could get slave labor for the turn to fix up Blavonograd...

That city is named after me and if its ever destroyed or razed I'll cry.

I lost this war, but I put a hole in that army of yours.

From Miletus
To Zemeckis

It has come to our attention that the Soviet-Carthage Empire will not be able to make your payments. We suggest you continue to plunder and spoil their lands and we will give you three EP for the barren wasteland that is left.

To:Miletus
From:Zemeckis Army

We are sure that Soviet-Carthage is smart enough to pay up. If they aren't, your offer is a deal.

That will be the first mercinary happening in this NES! :p
