Has everyone heard (yes, heard) the advertisement that involves a woman saying:
"Congratulations! You have been selected to receive two free iPod Nanos."
That is so distracting when I'm trying to do things quietly on the computer. And now it seems to be on half of all the websites I visit.

Yes. I hate it. It must be destroyed.

Oh,well.Take it like a man!And accept it as being just one of many minor annoyance you will face time to time!

So I'm not allowed to complain about it? :p

If they want to sell stuff, being as annoying as possible is not the way to do it.

No,it is called marketing and secondly i have to say that it doesn't matter if you complain or not,you consumer drone!:p

Yeah. That crap drives me insane.

Sometimes the stupid voice goes on even after I exit the browser and I have to hit mute to shut it up.

Bah!

@civconquerer, they are probably not selling Nanos, but they do want people to click on the ad. That goal is not currently being accomplished, unless people are clicking it to get it to shut up ;)

The thing to do there is to just keep refreshing the web page.

*Catharsis reclines on a bed of iPod Nanos*

They'll never know what hit them. :cooool:

You realize annoying ads are a neccesary evil right? Without annoying ads the internet wouldnt exist because there would be no funding for it.

Why do they have to be annoying to pay for the internets?

Nobody in their right mind goes searching for internet ads, they have to be annoying to get thier slim chance of catching somebodys attention.

But don't you want to win 2 free iPod Nanos?

I'll just be the smart consumer and get those free iPods while you miss out!

I also really like the one with the misqueto (I have no idea how to spell that) buzzing around that you have to shoot to get ringtones or whatever...

Love my Firefox Adblock combo, haven't had a pop up in 2 years.
