Pac 10/ Big 12 sign to do an early season challange like the ACC/Big Ten
I wish it was this year. The Pac 10 is loaded and it would be nice to add to that difficulty in the schedule.

Speaking of difficult...
Starting Sunday Arizona has an 11-game run that has seven ranked teams. They play Oregon twice, UCLA, UNC (1/27), Washington, & Washington State. How do you think Arizona fare in these seven games?

It's obvious my Wildcats are all that this year. This stretch was critical to show who they were and we haven't shown up.

Too bad since the Pac 10 teams would seem to prepare a team for the rigors of the tournament. We're through unless Kirk Walters comes back with some weight on his bones and add a 8th body.

Where's Matt when you need him?

His American lost to Bucknell last night. :p

Its looking like I was wrong about this team. We've been hit hard by injuries, and we're choking bad. Loss in OT at HOME to college of the HOLY CRAP!!

If you can't get up for Holy Crap at Bender, you're not a good basketball team.

At least we still have the patriot league tourney...maybe we can catch a break.

*turns on Buckeyes*

Eww, Ariz-UNC made me throw up. At least my conference still has UCLA and Oregon... USC keeps doing good against ranked teams and choking against randoms...

For as bad as UVA was about a month ago, we're now 5-2 in the conference. We might actually have a legit tournament shot.

It's at home, so I give us a bit of a chance. We're pretty hard to beat at home.

Even so, a win against Duke is not strictly necessary. I'd say we need to finish 10-6 in conference to secure a bid. We should be able to handle Miami, Florida State, and Georgia Tech at home; I give us a decent shot at Miami and Wake and home against VT, and some shot at home against Duke. At Maryland and at VT not likely. Still, 10 ACC wins is very doable. Or, on the other side, we could collapse like we did earlier this season and win only 1 or 2 more. It's impossible to tell.

Well well well. What do you know? :D

Big Day in the Pac-10, UCLA reasserts its dominance over Oregon, and Arizona loses again, this time to Washington State.

And congrats to Virginia, but you guys will choke eventually. ;)

La la la la I can't hear you!!! ;)

We'll see. I'm certainly not ruling it out.

Yea, Kevin Durant is pretty much the greatest player in the history of college basketball :mischief:

Too bad this is his only year.

@ Reynolds :scan:  . What year is he?

Unfortunately for us, he's a senior. He's had a very good last few weeks, and (despite Singletary's heroics) he was the chief architect of last night's win. Cramping up pretty badly at a few points, he scored 20 in the second half and and didn't miss a single freebie down the stretch. We're going to miss him a lot. Singletary's a junior, but the early exit talk it unavoidable; we'll just have to see. If he leaves, we're probably going to be very, very bad next year.

If UCLA can win on sunday I predict that they will jump to #3 or so...
