Flames put Ales Kotalik on waivers. So with Jokinen traded away, and Kotalik on waivers, the Flames essentially traded Matthew Lombardi, Brandon Prust, and a 1st round draft pick (Brandon Gormley) for Christopher Higgins...

I'm actually really really happy about that one!

Okay, considering that we sign Ellis and Boyd that will be a good trade for montreal.
Ellis is a solid second goalie, the kind that would help Price. Price dosent want another youngster breathing down his neck. If montreal dosen't sign Ellis there's always martin Biron that is available. Biron already said that he would want to sign with the habs. anyways anything is better than being the 23rd goalie for the Islanders and playing in their farm team. (in my opinion the islanders are already a farm team ... lol)

As for Boyd he fits well in the position of being 3rd center sucks for Lapierre but I feel Boyd would be better. Anyways lapierre has not been resigned yet, with Eller that could be making the team this year would have the 4th line to center. I dont deslike that Idea at all.

Cant wait to see friday how the team will look.
