2012..The Movie

I can to, but I only reserve to doing so when it is something I can't buy/find on the street.

Besides, buying on the street is safer imo, you have a better chance at getting a good copy than from the internet.
Eh, it's probably the same quality as Mexico: Bad (with bad subtitles included).

There's a trend among people who don't know how to make good movies to simply try to make them more spectacular instead. This leads to sucky movies. This will be no exception.

Nah, depends on the place, you get to know the right places after awhile where they get good ones.

Just don't buy stuff with subtitles than. ;) Plus most movies come with options these days on startup which usually include 'change to Spanish subtitles' and stuff.

If you use a site that doesn't suck, your odds getting a good copy are extremely good. (I have hundreds of blu-ray rips, no bad copies, so 99%+)

Can you even buy pirated blu-ray stuff on the street?

Also, I was banned from 1 month from Rogers while in Canada for pirating if anyone is curious, so Canadian Piracy < Venezuelan Piracy.

Rogers is famous for sucking at everything, I'm with an ISP that isn't famously sucky.

Yah, last movie I watched was a blu-ray movie actually.

Since that episode with Rogers, my parents switched to Bell as we got a discount as we owned Bell phones and package. But that was a bad idea was my parents had to pay over a thousand to cancel the package to move here. (I was only living in Canada for 6 months at the time, as I was going back to Poland, so I only had a pay as you go package)

I might watch it if I'm bored and have lots of cash to blow/people willing to pay for me. It looks like a good popcorn flick, and absolutely nothing more.

Agreed. This movie will suck, and suck hard. Typical cliched Hollywood crap.

Of course, all that being said, I'll probably end up watching it. Why? Because my girlfriend likes typical cliched Hollywood crap. I'll see if I can get laid during the film, if only to avoid actually watching it.

So at best, downloaded and bought pirated stuff are equal, except downloading is cheaper.

Yeah, Bell is famously sucky as well.

And if they weren't going back to Canada, they didn't have to pay anything to cancel, they could just leave.

And even for non pay-as-you-go, you don't have to sign a contract, it's not even fine print, it's like SIGN A THREE YEAR CONTRACT FOR DISCOUNTS.

No, I didn't have to pay anything.

The problem though with just leaving, is it was a Family Package, or atleast named as a Family Package. It was used as a business package, and we disguised my dad's Co-owner as my brother! (which was difficult as he is Polish looking guy and I'm more Italian looking due to my latin descent) Anyway, we got a half priced Business package. But since he was staying in Canada, we had to cancel it which was why we had to pay.

I'll wait for it to be on netflix "watch it now"

Not after I saw the part of "the government is making boats, we'll be safe!"

Typical Hollywood...

Yeah, only private cooperation are capable of creating survival planet hoping spaceships - Typical hollywood bull

Well, considering most people in Mexico don't understand English, it's kind of hard buying one without Spanish subtitles. The Spanish subtitles are pretty funny, though (example. in some movie, the character said "F*ck!" and the translation was "Caracoles!", which means snails )

Eh, I never buy DVDs (pirated or not)...like Zelig, they're on the interwebs, so why pay? :D

No, I meant how they had to go and screw up another end-of-the-world movie with some happy ending in which humanity survives.

I'm sick of this "go humans" stuff. All the movies are the same...hardship, disaster, but TRIUMPH OF THE HUMAN WILL, GO US!

I know, it was Sarcasm :P

Also, it's another movie with a black president during disaster :nono:

Its not as if the movie itself had much to screw up...
