20K Succession Games? +CTR5 Interest Thread

Can anyone list some 20K SGs that have been attempted before (standard 20K, no double-20K or any other such complication)? I'm looking into the possibility of setting up an Emperor 20K SG, but I don't want to rehash old games, and I'm not able to find any (I miss the search function).

Can't help with the search I'm afraid, but I'd definatley be interested in joining an Emperor 20ker.

Ok, KELLO, I'll add you to the tentative roster.

I went back almost a year, and couldn't find (based on title) a 20K SG, so I think I'm ok with whatever criteria I make for it...but I'll keep looking.

RBP8 - Culture Conquerors was a 20k culture game, with quite a twist.

I think LKendter has done 20K games once or twice as well.

Ya know I have never attempted a culture win and would like to try. But I'm booked and still looking at 3 weeks before joining another. Good luck with this one.

Here is a link to a Monarch level 20K game, currently playing. It's turning out to be very straightforward. Once you get to 35 to 40cpt all you have to worry about is the AI launching.

Emperor would be more of a challenge, and you could increase the challenge further by making a low density map, or a dry non-coastal start.

I think you'll have a lot of fun on Emperor level.

We tried something similiar, it was that we had to get about 5 wonders built before the age ends. It was on Monarch I think, I had fun but we drew a bad start abd there was no time to play...
