21st Century - my first scenario

It's also worth mentioning that, like other Muslim countries, Indonesia has its lunatic fringe.
Cross out "other Muslim" and replace it with all other. That'll be even more correct. ;)

Every country has its share of idiots and fanatics.

Rename Middle Eastern Coalition into OPEC League or something. Because that's how they are united today generally.

Yah, but it's mostly Indonesia, Iran, Syria (etc...) that have have those nuts.

Anyway, I like how this is coming along.

However, I would like to stress that I think Scandinavia should be made into one big civ, wrap the EU into one, and add France, Germany and Viola! I think it will look great BTW.

Sounds interesting. Are North Korea and Vietnam in the SCO? I thought it was more of a partnership between the PRC and Central Asian nations (the "Stans").

Well, this scenario isn't totally realistic, but close. I know that real SCO has PRC, "Stans" and even Russia on it. Wouldn't it be a bit too powerfull alliance? I mean, Russia and PRC together? Well, my idea was to have Russia and China and more of an independent civs.

But Maybe this would be the new list then, (is this better?):

Neutrals

- Republic of India
- European Union
- Latin-American Integration Organization

Comments? Suggestions? Requests?

oh my GOD!!! this is one of the greatest modern era scenarios ever!!! i cant wait until you finish it but one thing why is George W Bush the president in 2009? make it obama or somthing and ill suggest that when you start puting on the units that you dont over do it because its sucks having to move 5000 units on the first turn

I originally thought about having the year 2000 or 2005 as the starting year, but that's a good point... I could rename some leaders of the world, having them replaced by potential leadership candidates or fictional persons.

Units are the problem in most of the scenarios (?). There are too many of them, and it takes years to download the scenario. First the citiy improvements and then I'll consider what to do and where to place the units.
