Segmentum Pacificus, i.e. the south; comparatively insignificant and out of harm's way in canon, at least after Lord Solar Macharius had it's way with it (it is safe to assume that he fought in the region in question as well). Of note are:
- a past highly-advanced anti-imperial human civilisation (thoroughly wiped out, but there might be some artifacts of note in our region itself);
- the Varantha Craftworld;
- and the Segmentum Naval Base on Hydraphur, which will probably be processing much of the Imperial requests for reinforcements.
I made a mistake when I wrote Segmentum Pacificus. We are actually on the Sagittarius Arm in Segmentum Ultima, just 'north-west' of the Tau Empire. I'll fix that mistake now.
As for food and resources, your reserves of both as listed under 'Previous Banked resources'. The other stats reflect an income level. Looking at the Bahmali example, they began that turn with 8 food and 8 resources banked. Their income is 0 food and 2 resources.
Glad you're looking forward to it. So am I. I've been playing on other forums for about 5 years now but I've never actually run a game.
EDIT: Mistake on the front page fixed. Thanks das.
@das- I know where Pacificus is, don't worry about that.
Sweet, we are much closer to potential future hivefleets than I thought.
Damn, I've had a massive, maniacal grin on my face that hasn't gone away for several minutes now. Reading PvP, plotting my cult, and listening to good dancing music...
It'll be a tough ride for you Iggy. Escpecially if we don't have more forces pressing in on the Imperials.
I'm eager to see what you can do with the cult. If you're especially successful, it might lead to more positions opening up for new players in the 'stealer cult.
They might be closer than you think. There are still splinter fleets active in this arm of the galaxy...

Actually, I'm avoiding named craftworlds, marine chapters, and any named characters from fiction or the tabletop game. You can create whatever you like. Your power and influence won't as much as that of a world like Alaitoc, Ulthwe, or even Iyanden, but still substantial.
