4th Cumulative WW2 Quiz

I'll take this, then:
Panzer I, Panzer II, Panzer III, Panzer IV, Panzer V Panther, Panzer VI Tiger, and Panzer VI Tiger II
There was one other German tank produced in WWII bearing the name of Panzer. Name it and describe it.
(and no, it's not the Maus or a captured model)

The Panzer 38(T) Czech tank.

If tank destroyer is included, I am pretty sure Illdisposed is correct.

Ninja edit: Or maybe a Flakpanzer, a self-propelled anti-air vehicle.

no, no, and no.
It wasn't a tank destroyer, czech tank, or aa vehicle. if you don't get it by tomorrow i'll post a hint.

Must have missed that bit sorry. I discounted the only other ones I can think of on the grounds that they didn't see very widespread use unlike the Czech models. That would be the Neubaufahrzeug series or to be precise the PzKpfw NbFz V and PzKpfw NbFz VI. They were heavy tanks with multiple turrets usually carring one 37mm and one 75 L24 in the main turrent and two modified Panzer I turrets. They saw action in Norway and Russia but didn't have a great deal of success other than in a propaganda role.

Slight derailment, the design of some German tanks are simply bizarre.

You can say that again, some of them probably only avoided being labelled pillboxes on the grounds that you could theoretically move them... provided you found a road they wouldn't destroy or ground solid enough that they wouldn't get bogged down.

Who is this man and please describe his most famous exploit.

I thought someone would go for Wittman but its not him no :D

Are you referring to "Barkmann's Corner"? When he took out 9 Shermans and a few more vehicles in a single fight (while dodging US fighters), winning a Knight's Cross?

What unusual tool did the allies use in attempt to convince the Germans they were going to invade elsewhere than Italy in 1943?

What unusual tool did the allies use in attempt to convince the Germans they were going to invade elsewhere than Italy in 1943?

Im probably wrong seeing as how this isn't a tool...

But didn't they dress up some dead soldier in a British Uniform and have him wash ashore with the 'invasion plans'

Probably wrong.
