.

Alright, that's it. If no one has the decency to reply to anything I write, could they at least tell me why? Again, I think I already know the answer, but if it is something else I would really appreciate knowing what it is.

Keep in mind we have many many lurkers here. People who just read through some of the stuff but never say a word. I'm extremely guilty of doing that. I know its hard to finish a game of civ, I only very seldom do it, but if you are feeling it try to stick it out with a story to the bitter end, even if you lose spectacularly it is fairly satisfying. Especially when you destroy half the world with nukes in the process.

I've become a lurker too, unfortunately. :hide:

I'm sorry I've been gone so long guys. I've become burnt out from reading stories, writing stories, and playing civ. It was taking up too much time in my year when too much was going on. I'm going to try and reintegrate myself, but don't expect a lot from me. I'll probably revive some stories that I've found interest in again. That being said, don't expect a lot, if anything from Mexico. My problem with the Mexico game was that I see Mexico collapsing soon, it was essentially going to become America, and it just wasn't interesting me anymore. It isn't a whole lot of fun to play a game and write a story that's already been written. "America: Write Your Own History" and my Mexico story were so similar it was almost ridiculous. Playing a world conquest game is fun once or twice, when I played Brazil and Ethiopia, but after awhile it just gets tedious. Also, having to write updates for the exact same thing that happened every single time gets tedious as well. I'm planning on reviving a story I'm growing interest in again.

Welcome back CK. I completely understand your plight, hope to read more of your stuff soon.

What happened to everyone? I know the junior year struggle hit me hard but geez, S&T is deserted...

No. Because you just TOLD ME. DUH!

I believe you (it's not like you haven't given me a reason to not). See you in another 3-4 months.

:joke:

 The state of S&T makes me cry. Maybe if I'm lucky I can come back a little bit in the early summer, but I don't even know if that'll do anything.

Wow! And I thought I was the only one that had struggles in life keeping me away from S&T.

That's terrible. I hope we can recover from this. But I still can't come here on a regular basis.

Good to see you guys again, I wish I could resume my activities here but life got hard on me since the end of last year.

Well guys, maybe I can come back not long from now, things seem to be getting back on track on my life. I don't want to get in too many details but college insists on making my life harder, my dad suffered an accident and was in Hospital for more then a month (thankfully he is already home now), my imunological system decided to kill my Thyroid (which is unbelievably smart on its part :crazyeye:) and I got aware of that in a critical situation already, and money (let's say students' parents prefer private teaching only when things are already catastrophic).

Also wish luck to my country because things are pretty intense around here. There are several english videos about it on youtube, so if you guys want, you can get all the info you need from those, or you may ask me and I'll gladly explain it, but long story short President Dilma Rousseff is almost suffering an Impeachment. It's now on the hands of the Senate to decide, which is the last step on this process.

So if anyone was planning to come here on the Olympics, think twice. Also if you really come and want a guide around town just contact me. My advice is actually to avoid coming, but that's up to you guys.
