5CC Regent Training Game

Jokeslayer- you were online earlier today, why didn't you answer me?

And it has been 72 hours and 1 minute since you posted your "got it".

:(

Tad, I guess that makes you up.

Jokeslayer; do you have enough time to continue to evaluate turnsets, just not play? That way, we don't need to find another trainer.

Tad: It's your turn then.

Edit: Crosspost with Choxorn.

I should have enough time to look through the moves every couple of days, yes. Might not be a bad idea for you guys to see if you can find someone else, though, as I'm not going to be getting less busy any time soon.

Oh, and something I forgot to say on that last turnset: where is that swordsman north of Istanbul wandering off to? He should be heading towards Babylon, not chasing barbarians.

You kinda already said that:

I don't agree with that swordsman heading north after the barbarians. If we're fighting the babs this early (also not something I like, but I'll work with it) I think we need to hit them with as much as we can. Much better to take them down in one go than to have to make peace with them.

sry guys I wont be able to play anymore in this SG because of time issues... I only have time for 1 & I barely have time for that so sry guys :(

Since we had 2 people bail on us, do you want to continue?
If you do, who can we have train us?

I'm not sure who can train us, but I think we can still play this. A while ago, I played a 3-Player 5CC SG, and we were able to finish it, and before that, an SG that eventually developed into 3 players, with an occasional 4th. I have links to both in my Sig.

In short, we can finish this with 3 players, but it won't be as easy as with 4 or 5.

Oh, and BTW, Got it. Will play tonight.

I cannot guarantee anything, but I could take some turn-sets to help you guys out. I have never tried a 5CC game, but I am an experienced player and veteran of 3 finished SG's, 2 of which were Emperor level. I don't think I'm experienced enough to be a trainer, but I do have some insight into this game.

Er- you've lost another player. Me.

For some reason, my computer no longer recognizes the existance of the CD Drive, meaning I can't do anything that requires a CD, including playing Civ(Although, strangely, I can play C3C- it hasn't required the disk for quite a while now, for whatever reason). So, put me on indefinite skip, as I can't play until this problem stops.

I can do it tomorrow night, as tonight I'm doing Rat 25. It is a PTW file, right? I will refresh myself on the rules and such tonight.

No, not 5CC. 5CCC.

I have finished my turn-set. Things went very well with several happy things occurring. Here is my turn-log:

Cities:
Istanbul: size 7, growth in 6, Horseman in 2 turns.
Edrine: size 2, growth in 2, Sword in 5 turns.
Bursa: size 3, growth in 1, Barracks in 2 turns.

Non-Combat:
Settler 1
Workers 5 native
Miltary:
Warriors 1
Archers 2
Spears 1
Swords 5
Horsemen 1

I did a dot map for the Settler, I like Yellow for the best temporary city, and Red for a more permanent city. Blue would make a decent fort city. I left the settler un-moved for when we decide where he goes. I made arrows to show movement for our military to gather on Babylon for the next attack, but gather them before moving into place to reduce attrition from counter-attacks. I saw evidence that the Babs have a town SSW of Babylon. Good luck to our next player.
