A Brave New World Part 2

To: Russia
From: France

The blind temper Russia appears engaged to makes it all too clear to us that you shall refuse to see reason. Russia attacked France first. This is undeniably the truth. You started this war. You may believe you are fighting with the nations of Europe, but indeed you are not. You seek to subjugate them, and we seek to liberate them. So far we have been wildly successful. You, on the other hand, have stymied our effort to quash the socialist menace brewing right here in Europe. You say they sent forces to help the Allies, however the opposite is true - Germans and Dutch were actually fighting with the UCNA, against Virginia et al! The very fact you cannot see this plain truth boggles our mind and we are amazed the citizenry of Russia tolerate such leadership. We can see through the veil, however, and a future with victory hailed from St. Petersburg will be the end of Europe as we know it, and so too Western civilization.

What's more, is Russia's own dedication to democracy is laughable. Your inability to provide stability and leadership during this time of war is obnoxiously ineffective and completely without regard to your own nation's integral spirit. We laugh at how inefficient St. Petersburg is, and we say that soon will be the day when Jugashvilli is ousted by what many straight-thinking Russians there must be, and if not then it will be clear to us that even Russia is beyond salvation, and our judgment will be fierce and brutal.

Take peace, or take war. Jugashvilli, the livelihood of your people depends on it.

Paris will burn and Europe shall be free.

To France
From The Netherlands

We suggest you read up on past events, since the dutch did send forces to help Louisiana in the Americas. We fought against UNCA not with, in fact when dutch troops arrived we helped Louisiana gain ground.

It was us who you asked to help send aid to the Americas we we gladly sent help to only be back stabbed by the french.

To The World
From England
CC: The People of Ireland:

Friends, we are at a turning point. A point where our decisions truly matter and the stances we take will shape the world of tomorrow. We are fighting a war of liberation. A War of freedom. A war, dare I say it, to end all Wars. And you my good people are clever enough to not let our indiscretions slip, how can we fight for freedom if we do not provide it where we have the power to do so straight away? You are, of course, right. How can we be crusaders for freedom and liberty if we ignore it in our homelands.

So, if the world needs an example, an example shall be set. The Catholic people of Ireland are from this day free to decide the direction of their people. The protestant north of course will remain under our protection, but as the Catholics want nothing to do with the Protestants they shall not find this too troublesome. The Irish will have freedom and it will be bloodless if they will it.

Will France give you freedom? Will it be bloodless? I think not.
Innocent French soldiers are sent casually to their deaths in Sweden and no doubt soon they will be sent here. And then New Holland. And then maybe New England. But they shall not have it, no sir, they shall not take our land from us. Not while we have breath in our lungs and blood pumping in our hearts. We shall fight and we shall die but we shall die Free.

We come to the world hoping to help bring awareness, everyone, not just Europeans, need to launch an attack against the axis. If you think your nations are safe because France and their allies are just focusing in Europe at the time being then you are mistaken, now is the time to launch your attack and unite together to stop the continuing attacks against the free nations of the world. Don't wait idly by while the axis spread across the world, join in and help us stop them before it's to late! We urge you to act now and send aid because now is the time.

From: Socialist Pennsylvania

We are the rightful government of Pennsylvania. For the last three elections you have attempted to stop us from gaining our rightful offices by rigging elections. For to long have you decieved the people of Pennsylvania. But no longer. We will take our rightful place in the government and whether or not blood will be spilt is up to you.

To: The People of Pennsylvania
From: Socialist Pennsylvania

For years the Republican government has decieved you, lying so that they may hold onto office. Not only that, but they have led Pennsylvania into two costly wars, one of which we had no business fighting, and killed many young soldiers. Now is the time to throw off the blindfold that the Republican government has placed over your eyes and see the truth. Join us in ridding Pennsylvania of those you would decieve you for their own good.

To: Virginia, New England
From: France

We are willing to sign a treaty whereby France recognizes as permanent Virginian and New English jurisdiction over their respective colonies in Africa and Indochina. Given the screaming rhetoric echoing from Europe we can see that our comrades-in-arms against the communists might feel as if their possessions are next. This is plainly not true.

Furthermore, we shall remind our American allies that the Axis sent millions of soldiers against the communists, and the EAN did nothing but bolster the forces of the UCNA by their traitorous acts. China and yes, even Georgia fought the communists. Now, while our support for Georgia wears treacherously thin (as you know it well should) we do not apologize for their fighting the communists.

Finally, we wish to inform our allies in America that as soon as the Russian bear is turned back and Europe is free, we will use the full force of the Empire to smash the Communists once and for all.

The treaty we offer is thus:

The Treaty of Casablanca, aka The Gentleman's Agreement

The undersigned do hereby recognize as permanent and legitimately attached to their respective Imperial powers the following Imperial and Colonial possessions:

1. The New English possession of the city of Casablanca.
2. The New English possession of the island of Puerto Rico.
3. The New English possession of the Panama strip.
4. The Virginian possession of Nicaragua.
5. The New English possession of the Galapagos.
6. The New English possession of Abyssinia.
7. The New English possession of Bangladesh.
8. The New English possession of Burma.
9. New English authority over key Chinese ports.
10. The New English possession of the Philippines.
11. New English authority over key Pacific Islands.
12. The New English possession of Madagascar.
13. The New English possession of Zanzibar.
14. The New English possession of Indochina.
15. The New English posession of the Congo.
16. The New English possession of Arnoldka.
17. The New English possession of Greater Oman.
18. Virginian authority over key Atlantic Islands.
19. The Virginian possession of the Mooreland.
20. French authority over Africa not otherwise consigned to Virginia or New England in the above language.
21. The French possession of India.
22. French authority over key Pacific Islands.
23. French authority over key Indian Ocean Islands.
24. The French possession of Ceylon.
25. The French possession of Georgia. lol forgot

We hope that these stipulations can satisfy New England and Virginia. We regret if they choose to support the EAN and Russia in these affairs, for such would ultimately cause catastrophic unrest in the noble empires commanded by our American friends.

Since I'm starting a new job tomorrow, I still dont know exactly what my hours will be for this coming week and thereby do not know when the update will occur. By tomorrow evening I should have a clearer idea of whats to come.

Virginia would also like Iraq to be added to Virginia's sphere of influence. We would also like to see something regarding French influence in Quebec and the Metis Republic.

If these stipulations are made, and New England concurs, we would sign this document.

OOC: I talked to EQ about it last night, but apparently two of my colonies are somehow missing from the first page; Port Adams (the one surrounded by Njigeria) and South Africa. If those could be added as well, I would very much like to keep them :P

Btw everyone, 14 posts ago, ABNW2 passed BirdNES1 for the thread with the most posts currently in the NES forum.:)

Edit: Course, in retrospect to RTOR2, we need something like 20,000 posts to equal what that did in 03.:crazyeye:

OOC: Sure thing New England. =P

Also congratulations everyone on the biggest thread in the forum! With over 40 updates and five-and-a-half thousand pages, we have truly constructed a rich and detailed alternate history. Bravo! I'm proud to have worked with every one of you.

26. The New English possession of South Africa.
27. Virginian influence over Iraq.
28. New English influence over the Arabian peninsula.
29. All three nations promise to respect the sovereignty and independence of the Metis Republic.

*Not permanent. Ergo, not officially mentioned in the language of this treaty, but listed for the sake of completion.

In addition, the National Republic of France agrees to:

1. Cease all support both public, private, economic, military, and political to the State of Georgia.
2. Move to have the State of Georgia expelled from the Co-Axial Pact of Nations; failing this, the treaty is null and void.
3. Publicly denounce recent military actions taken by the State of Georgia with regard to the attack against the State of Louisiana and the unlawful annexation of fellow Co-Axial Pact of Nations member the State of Tennessee.

We are still willing to make additional changes if Virginia and New England are not completely satisfied, either in terms of language or in terms of stipulations promised by the treaty.

From: Denmark
To: New England, Virginia

Please, do not accept the treaty the French people have presented to you. The French are the furthest thing from a gentlemen that have ever existed, so their word isn't worth the paper in which it'll be signed. Remember when they asked the EAN to send troops to help in the fight against the Socialists in America only to backstab us under the false belief that we were socialists ourselves. Soon, they'll go back on their word; they'll say that you are socialists as well; they'll turn on you like they turned on us; and then, too late, you'll realise that the EAN was right and that France's only objective will be the subjugation of the world to their evil ways.

To: New England, Virginia
From: France

We will note that supporting the EAN is the best expedient to destroying your own empires. The choice is very simple. If New England has any attachment to 78% of her economy, and Virginia any attachment to the Empire she has labored carefully over the past century to build, they will not support England and their silly libertarian radicalist ideals. It is our duty to eliminate those who would effect to destroy the status quo, and thus far we have been successful. Once Europe has been shown the way and Russia has been tamed, we will destroy the greatest threat to the status quo - the Communists. You have our distinct word on this, not as a matter of honor, but a matter of principle. New England and Virginia, we see, stand to lose much and gain little. But if Paris falls, then soon all imperialism will fall in its wake. If Paris falls, then all too likely the Communists will finish off the Atlantic Allies. Do you think Russia can save you? Do you think the EAN can do anything but sit and twiddle their thumbs? Hah! Those infamously corrupt and inefficient fools won't be able to halt the Red Tide.

Our offer to cut Georgia should demonstrate how little we wish to be involved in North America, however we realize that if the East Coast falls to Socialism then Europe will be in a danger all too clear and present. We can destroy communism utterly, something that no other nation can offer you. Would you rather have a 20-year armistice with your belligerent neighbors wherein your empires crumble and your economies collapse, or an eternal peace where the progress of time is arrested and the status quo is preserved forever? Choose wisely.
