OOC: Actually, the event that started this war, was Canada's fault.

CRISIS ON THE QUEBEC-CANADA BORDER. Moah, Canada. Tensions have risen dramatically between the French protectorate of Quebec and the New Englander protectorate of Canada this year after a series of events. Iroquois-Canadian citizens were arrested running guns and munitions to Iroquois in central Quebec and sentenced to life imprisonment. In response, a small Canadian militia group crossed the Quebecois border, raided the prison, and freed their compatriots. Despite all odds the militia managed to return to the safety of the Canadian border. After a brief confrontation between the Canadian military and the Quebecois pursuit force, the initial crisis was limited. However, in the wake of the crisis, a number of Quebecois have begun marching in the streets to demand war against Canada, claiming that this event was the last straw in Canadian perfidy. The militiamen who participated in the raid have become instant heroes in Canada, and have become more or less honored dignitaries wherever they roam. (+1 Stability for Quebec, +1 Stability for Canada)

Could've annexed them in World War 0 and then we wouldn't have had this problem.
 
I wouldn't count on it. France has its own troubles and both you and Canada are pretty well off and with Canada fighting a defensive war you will lose more than you bargained for. But go right ahead and prove me correct.
 
Especially with the amount of horsemen who rode straight into machine guns... not gonna be too easy... but anyway feel free to storm the trenchs

Cocky huh? I like cocky people... mainly because of how hard they whine when they begin to lose.

Just to increase your cockiness I will join Canada with my armies and help them hold their lands so they can devote their entire army to watch the joyous event of your cavalry being mowed down by machine gun fire.

Disclaimer: I have no intention of joining the war so please no declarations of war because someone got confused. Everything I said above is OOC.

Don't think I don't want to... I cannot, I have no way to support Canada militarily, Texas won't grant me military access due to their neutrality stance unless I pay them and I am not about to march my army through Mexico's barren northern territories, then Louisiana is at war with France, no chance of going that way, and Sauk is a French protectorate. As much as I would love to march up there and kick your bony butt back even further pass the stone age I simply do not have the means. Perhaps if Mexico has trains.... hmmm.... let me get back to on this....

Yes, I do think you did that on purpose knowing that everyone will turn on France and I will end up being outnumbered. Or do you not think that deep?
 
Now now children. Who started the war doesn't matter. The point is we have a war which is a great thing to have. Lets not diminish whats sure to be glorious bloodshed, death and destruction over petty bickering over responsibility. Why don't you plan a genocide in your free time? I know I have.
