Our declaration of war on New France is only a formality, we need to march through their lands to get to Canada. If they do not attack us we won't attack them. We do not wish to be known as sneaky backstabbers. Once we leave New France we will rescind the declaration of war against New France.

Or if you wish, New France can just give us a 2 month military access and we will immediately rescind the declaration of war.

Do you not see now why we did not take Quebec's word at face value that they would not attack us? Do you not see the folly of standing by such a damned fool of an "ally" and drag the entire world into war? We maintain that we have no problem with France or Russia, only with Quebec. There is still time to stop this needless violence and resolve this diplomatically. Sauk rejects the notion that the current war is in anyway tied to the Fox invasion of Sauk, Sauk accepted a very unfavorable peace terms in order to restore peace and has always maintained a neutral stance in the Current conflict.
